You get to fight a water war in NC once a year. You get to go to class about 180 days a year. You get to go to college classes about 720 days in 4 years. The verdict? Skip class.

It actually has nothing to do with school. It's just that certain issues have come up and getting down there at all seems unlikely. If I can go, it will be during my spring break, just when we were planning it. Believe me, I really want to go, but my life is kind of shitty right now, and I don't see it improving any time soon. Hell, I'm not even sure if I can do the road trip anymore (but don't count me out of that, if we even do it).

Well, what if you or DX hosted the war instead? Most people are near you. If you and your brothers can't come we are down 3 important people.

Well, how many people are coming (not counting my crew) all together? There's still a chance that I can come, but I'm just not sure at the moment.

The only people who could make this but wouldn't be able to make a fight up north are the Oncoming Storm and Fishfan. I definitely don't want to leave them out, but the Oncoming Storm can't fight on Sundays and Fishfan most likely can't make the weekend of the 23rd anyway.

Definitely not up north. NC is already expensive, and we are having some BIG car problems with our van (Starter, radiator, engine messed up because overheated too many times, you get the idea.) so I would have to go in a station wagon.

What's wrong with a station wagon? Mine's almost at 150,000 miles, but the shop says it will last over 200,000 with good maintenance. Thieves don't come out to steal them, cops don't come out of speed traps for them, more cargo space than some light trucks, good fuel economy over 35 MPG.

One problem with Seal or myself hosting is the unpredictable northern weather. It's not unheard of to get a 40 inch blizzard or temps below -10 even late in March. The second largest snowstorm I've seen came on April 1st. Also, we want to save Dug Hill for Downpour and Waterbridge can't be used yet because the reeds will not be up. If we have a northern war at that time of year, it won't be that great - there's just no vegetation yet.

Ok, I guess worst case scenario we only have about 8 people, but it looks like Wetmonkey and Drench can make it, which will be great.

I keep forgetting to post this, but I do plan to attend. The date and location don't matter to me since I'm not in college and have my own car.

Sorry again that I have not been around.

My spring break is from March 16th to 24th, though as long as I don't have to miss a whole week I can skip a day or too of school (especially if I let the teacher know in advance). I would probably have to take off Monday if it stays the date planed. I doubt I would be up for driving Sunday after 3 days of battle. My spring break is right before this so I would probably leave Thursday (only 6 hours, but my dad wouldn't be with me to share the driving so it would be more like 8 ). It is really to bad no one is on my route since even with the rear seat removed my van can still seat 4 and without the seat we could each bring 10 guns and 2 or 3 bags. I doubt Bela could come to this, even if his spring break coincided with this (I don't know when it is) his mom probably wouldn't let him come without my dad there.

As far as staying in tents goes I'd be fine with that, as long as it is not too hot I sometimes sleep better then in my house! I would prefer to have the night battle only go to 12:00am though, when I stay up past that I feel tired the next day no matter how much I sleep in. As far as waking up in the morning goes, in a tent the sun wakes me up around 7:00am. I often hear you all moving around and talking (remember the time you tried to ambush me with the Electrostorm and I pulled my 2500?), I simply don't feel like getting up yet. I could get up at 7:00am, but I wont be at 100% if I don't get my 9 hours (and that assumes I fell asleep the moment my head touched the pillow).

I don't know about building a homemade for the battle (I don't really know much about how to do that), but I have been studding SEAL and Duxburian's WBLs every chance I get at each war and feel pretty confident I could build one of those. You can show me all the pictures and diagrams you want but I learn a lot more when I can actually pick something up and examine it.

I agree with Scott on the 12 am thing, but I can't make it on the 23, or on the third weekend.

Everyone please go back over your doodle calender dates and make adjustments. It sounds like people's schedules have changed.

I put in dates, but they are tentative. I'm not sure if I can make it or not, unfortunately I do not know of events taking place this far in advance.
I MIGHT be able to make it on the 23rd, but it's not likely. My dad said several things are going on that weekend, and I can't make it on the second or third weekend. If this can occur on a weekend it's better because it's less days my dad has to take off.

Are you changing the dates or something? You mentioned on the Facebook page that it would start on Sunday the 25th. Either way I can probably make it, though my dad might be coming with us (which means we probably won't have room for anyone that we could've picked up). Would that be a problem? You said there wasn't really anywhere for non-participants to hang out.

You should make a schedule. The planned dates are actually just over a month away, believe it or not. I want to ask my cousins if they're interested in coming; we could have 4 or 5 extra people if they come. Don't count on it though.

Currently the war starts on the 23rd. I will update everyone if that changes. If it does then It'd just be moved to the right a day or 2.
