I saw the new hydro current

Post by the oncoming storm » Sat Jan 19, 2013 8:15 pm

Today while I was in wall-mart I went to the toy section the only new gun they had was the hydro current, No I didn't buy it but I got a good look at it. The hydro Current is a pistol styled gun that hold 23oz and has a nozzle that appears to be larger than the one on the XP 70 it takes 4 double A's and sells for $10.,

Now on to a tangent, last year a few of us said we would like to get tranchuls to use as sidearms because they didn't need pumping and had good performance but were rare. This is buzz bee's response to those comments! A good pump free sidearm for soakfests with great capacity, I like it.

It should definitely outperform Hasbro's blasters, but I don't think I'd use it as a sidearm, as it's still a motorized blaster, and I seriously doubt it can match up to pressurized pistols. The MD 4000 is my number one sidearm pick at the moment.

If it's only $10, you should consider picking one up and testing it for us.

4AA batteries is one more than the Water Warriors Jet uses. Hopefully that means they're using a better motor, though not sure if it'll be on par with the Water Warriors Tarantula. Time and testing will tell.

I think they may have put the tarantula's motor in it. Based on nozzle size I expect it to get to the same if not better stats than it, as it seems to rival my gorgons 2x setting in size.
