Summer Battles

War at the park

I brought a WW Cricket to Adair Park for a friends birthday because we got him a no name air pressure water gun. We started at the play-sets trading shots I got up on one of the playsets and ran out water. When we reloaded someone else wanted to play to as well so I gave him a bottle we fought again running out again. when reloading someone else joined making it bottles vs water guns we stayed on the playsets. We changed playsets at one point. The enemy took over the over, I borrowed my teammates weapon and hit them at 40' forcing them to attack. we reloaded and by the end of it we were fighting 4 on 3 at the water fountain till we had to go.

A Duel

Priv Williams was over, We started at the deck he blasted me as I was putting on shoes, when I was done I retreated to the bushes next to the garden he quickly found me and I went in the creek finally getting back in the yard. He went behind a tree on the over side, I traded shots not hitting him, so I charged him without drawing fire and forced him to retreat. He grabbed the hose in the backyard and I ran through the creek getting forced back, so it tried sneaking in through middle of the creek and blasted him. We repeated this twice more and I went back to the front yard to reload. when i was done I did a hose raid and, soaked him the next time I tried it he was on ready and my raid failed. He ran out passed me without a blaster and I won.

Game Soaker tag

We were at a friends house with Priv Williams, as always this one friend played tag. at one point I grabbed a syringe type blaster and he seeing this chased me, I blasted him at close range and dropped it I rushed back and grabbed one of his Crickets (mine being at home) and handed the other one to my privet. the other guy grabbed the syringe and filled it in there kiddy pool he fired at me and missed, then he went back to reload. his nest shot hit home, but as I am a deadly shot with the cricket just turned back and blasted him then me and my teammate went in the woods behind his house , when we came out I sent my squadmate out first and he pushed him back then I came out and he attack with the same thing as last time he did this happening he hit me again and ran in the house. when he did come out we agread no waterguns in tag and it was over

Outguned never out soaked

I was at a friends house for indapendince day with a grunt from the team he filled his syringe and started blasting us. We went to his shed to get a squirt gun, but that one was broken we found a working one and set up base on a trailer with a 2 gallon bucket to fill it from. Then we set out to raid him while he was reloading I got a few shots in before he was done, he blasted the whole thing at me but I just dooged it got a few more shots in and ran back to base to Reload. This time we went to the front yard and he attacked us missing me, then I let him have it then we both fell back him going to the pool and us back to base. We reloaded both squirt guns and went to attack him while he was reloading we got a few shots in he shot at us a bit getting a hit one me, then I grabbed a pool toy and soaked him with it reloaded it and gave it to my teammate' I grabbed the other pool toy and we when back to base with them. We got a few more raids in before lunch and that was it for round 1.

Round 2

This time my teammate from the first round was my foe in a duel armed with empty kashup and maynases bottles, we started at the pool trading shots from opaset sides of it I went to reload and he atacked I ran dragging my weppon in the pool and got enough of a blast to stop him, then we reloaded after a while of this we grabbed buckets and dumped them on each other. Finay we were both soaked and decided to stop because we couldn't get wetter, and the game was over

Duel soakfest

A friend was over and we wanted to have a water fight I was using a Cricket, he used my avenger we started in the side yard we traded a few shots and I ran around the house and climed over the fence to the backyard where I had built a small fort behind the out building. He hadn't followed, so I went back around the house and took a shot at him and ran. This time he followed and I went to the for the attacked me but a shot in the cheast made him back off then he started trading shots at me. Several times I went around and tap shot at him and we traded positions I traded some shots and ran around and gave him a shot I the chest. He had no change so we stopped to let him dry off and the game was over.

Who had the range advantage? What's your fort look like? These are always good things to write about. Sounds like you had more skill than he did.

Priv Williams was over and we had a duel It started in the front yard we trade some shots and I rushed for the garden, he didn't follow I charged at him and shot at him I ran to the tree and used it as cover, we traded some shots and ran to the "fort" and we traded some shots. Then we agreed to trade positions I ran to attack through the garden, I got a hit in and he ducked behind some cover and I shot at it it didn't hit him he blasted back through a thin spot in his cover seeing this I shot at the same spot again my shot didn't hit him he then gave up and the fight was over.

I was at Sarg Ray's house and we went to the backyard to battle I started in the middle of the yard we traded some shots and I got up close and blasted him at close range running away he blasted me and I ran behind the shed, he started shooting over the shed and I stuck my head out long enough to get shot, I made him waste a few shots and rushed out blasted him at close range this time running to the play set, his little sister and him shot at me and I rushed him again blasted him at close range again going to the shed, this we did several times till we got stopped to dry off

What guns were you using? Also, please try to avoid using run on sentences. Using a clear, concise writing style makes it easier for everyone to understand what's going on in the fight. It should also help increase the # of comments you get on your reports. Go back and review your write up after you are finished with it. Read it out loud and make sure it sounds right. If you still have difficulty picking out run on sentences, knowing when to use present or past tense, etc. you can always send me your report before you post it and I can help you. I'm a Teaching Assistant in college and I've been a tutor for a few years now.

I am glad that you are able to fight relatively frequently this summer.

Gorgon combat debut

Since the addition of the Gorgon to my arsonel last week I have fought with it several times

Battle 1 type soakfest, 2 vs 1, Gorgon vs Scatter blast and Avenger

They started across the ditch in the street I was using the front yard tree as cover. The Scatter Blast tried to rush me on the flank and I shot at him twice, then a stream from the avenger hit me and I shot at him. The Scatter Blast took full advantage of my distraction getting in close and blasting me. I ran to the garden much to my surprise they didn't follow I switched from my largest nozzle to my smallest as it looked like I was running out fast. I ran past them firing rapid bursts till I reached the tree where I repumped. The Scatter Blast tried the same move as last time, but without any cover fire he had trouble getting in close. However he finally got in close and blasted me, I immediately ran to the backyard where although it didn't need it I refilled. I ran back around front and got blasted by the hose :soaked:, I fired back but caused little dampness before retreating. I let them make the next move which was a singe flanker through the garden it fired at him and moved as if to try a flank around the house he fell for it and fell back to cover the flank. This time I charge the flank, they were a little separated so I chased the dryer one and hosed him down :) . I fell back again before they could give chase, I did it again it worked beautifully. But alas they had to leave.

Battle 2 type soakfest, 1 vs 1 Gorgon vs Scatter Blast 2 and Avenger

We started in the front yard as always I went for the tree to use it as cover, he followed and we blasted away for 30 seconds before I got a brilliant idea, to stay behind cover and shoot when he came around. It worked very well several times his shot missed and once he failed to shoot at all, finaly on his last gun he ran past me and we traded shots without cover. He had to go before it was over so I won.

Type Soakfest, 4 vs 2, Gorgon, thunderstorm, avenger cricket Vs Avenger, Scatter Blast, cricket, xp 215

This battle started out very disorganized I started by chasing down the thunderstorm and hosing it down, then I ran to the front yard and traded shots with someone near the garden before falling back to repump my blaster. Then I went to the backyard just to top it back off, when this was done I ran back to the front yard where the chaos had subsided and had turned into a real battle 4 vs 2 are foes were across the creek I switched nozzles over to 1.6x to provide fire suppression. We trade shots and a teammate was also trying to support with the T-Storm which was at the tip of it's range, with a hose as well we formed a line to hold back any charge. One of them move to a flank after one of our men got in the creek, so I sent the hose to hold him back which worked well and he rejoined his teamate. We traded a few more shots and I charged then breaking there line. Naturally they were out of water so my sister filled there cooler with water, while they filled up we did as well and got it the ditch just across from were they were refilling, seeing this they when back to the creek and we moved back there again to block them. Again fighting till they were out and while they were refilling, we hatched a plan a grab there backups. When they were almost done filling I told my teammates to keep them buisy and charged across the street and ran around to the back of there fort and grabbed a cricket, not much happened after that and the battle was over.

This last post was more legible than the one which preceded it, but you still didn't PM me to check your grammar first. I have to say, you definitely had an interesting variety of weapons there. XP 215 as a primary? haha wow. I bet you owned with the Gorgon. Also, I like your new signature. Now I understand why you chose that SN.

I envy you man, but if I had 6 people willing to fight, I probably wouldn't stop complaining if we did nothing but a soakfest. :goofy: Not really, but I'd definitely take advantage of the numbers and split everyone up for a 3vs3 OHK/OHS game. It's great that you can fight so often; aside from community wars (and when I met DX at a local park.), the only fighting I've done this year has been a few OHK rounds between my brothers and I (some of them at night.). I think I had only two non-community battles with 4 people this year; one night round with my friend (who was supposed to come to Downpour.), and a 5HK skirmish with Bailey. I've gotten to the point where I just don't want to fight with less than 4 people.

Also, I agree with maruader; you should try to write a bit more legibly so that your stories will be easier and more enjoyable to read. You can also scoop up one or two extra points by doing so.

Type soakfest 2 vs 1 Tornado Strike and no name piston VS Gorgon

We started in the front yard trading shots at long(ish) range. The TS ran out first and switched clips I went behind the tree and tried to hold them back, they quickly overwhelmed me and I fell back to the side yard. The TS ran out again and I push the other back to the front yard while he switched clips. I when to the tree for cover again they once more overwhelmed me forcing me into the street. Predictably the TS ran out again (last clip this time), I switched out to 0.67x to try and run the other one out . They slowly pushed me back about 100' the TS going through both clips, and then he flanked me running just in time (for me). I was slowly pushed back to the end of the street were they again flanked me before I had to go in.

Very interesting to see you using the .67x nozzle so much. I have not used that in battle, but I only used it in one battle so far. I do not believe my sister ever used that nozzle either.
