Not so Tip Top Weapons...

Most 20th century and old blasters are used and possibly not working on ebay and other sites.

you have to know to not cross the line of value.

Used weapons should be a quarter or half price of a New In Box blaster.

look at pictures and see if it has too many battle scars and damage.

Read the seller's description. You should know if the seller stole a description from the box, isoaker.com, sscentral, or even the new WWwiki.
if the seller says it works great, and ONLY THAT, you should ask questions.

I've made mistakes, too. I tried to get a vanquisher some time ago, but after 30minutes of test and warfare, it became the SCREAMING VANQUISHER. :(

I am now trying to afford a new fleet of the CPS and other great SS and WW lines, but i'm goin to be cautious now...

Feel free to make your own tips.... i'm sure many people would like to know what they're doin'...

I wrote an Ebay buying guide a while ago with a lot of information on what to look for and what to avoid when shopping old CPS and other secondhand soakers. I've made some bad buys in the past and learned from those mistakes. Most of it is still basic common sense.

Ebay soakers come down to this maxim: If it looks like crap, it probably is crap and if it looks good, you probably can't afford it. With that said, there are deals to be had if you search frequently enough and wait patiently enough.

Does this look good enough to be restored?
