CPS Gun Wanted

Post by TheColton » Wed Apr 27, 2011 12:35 am

I have just started being really interested in water guns and I am looking for a good primary that is CPS based. I posted earlier that I wanted a backpack CPS gun, but after looking around online for about a week I noticed that they were really rare. Now I am looking for a good CPS gun. My favorites are backpack ones, cps 1000, cps 1500/1700 and the splashzooka. If anyone has an extra they can sell please comment below. :cps1000:

Hi Colton, welcome to isoaker.net! I suggest looking on ebay and craig's list at the moment. I may be interested in selling a CPS 1200 or CPS based SC 500, but I won't be deciding that until I leave school and go home in a week.

I wouldn't pay much more than $30 for either of them. If you search for a while, you'll eventually find a good deal. I saw a CPS 1500 go for six bucks! Too bad I didn't bid on it...

It's best to look for water guns on ebay during winter, when not very many people are looking for water guns.

A lot of people like the CPS 1000 because it's a little more powerful than the CPS 1200. But the CPS 1200 has longer shot time and has incredible power when modified.

The CPS 1000 and 1200 are very similar. Both are excellent blasters. I'd rate them a bit better than the 2100, which has similar power but lacks a strap. (Not that the 2100 is a bad blaster either.)

I prefer the 1200; it has nicer grips though I do dislike the odd angles amongst the blaster which make aiming a bit tricker without reference to where the nozzle is pointing. However, for every 1200 I've worked with, the PRV has behaved much more nicely than the PRV on my 1000. PRV removals aren't viable for me because I lend my blasters and don't want any risk of over-pumping at all.

If I want to do little modding which one has better range, output, and durability.

If you want to modify it, you should definitely get a CPS 1200. The yellow version is more powerful than the grey one.

When you get it in person let us know if it's actually blue or if it's a faded purple. Also, let us know how it performs/what mark/alternate it's most like.
