I saw a twin pack of Storm guns, and was wondering if anyone owns them or knows how they work. The link is here.

Haven't handled 'em personally, but they're Storms, meaning you can beat the heck out of them, throw them across the room, fill them, and continue playing. If you want good pistols, always buy Storms. They actually beat out the XP/MXD series in sales for a while.

Yeah, I absolutely love my 750 :D . I'm thinking these guns might be piston based, perhaps the trigger just operates the light. Unless the pump really is that short and really is mounted on the top. ??? Which would not be fun.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the pump is on top and it IS that small. Though I do remember something funky about these guns. Maybe they were designed to be used with the hose...? Even so, I think they'd function flawlessly away from the hose - go for it!
