Well, I was looking around on the Water Warriors site (still waiting for updates) and I saw this gun called the Krypton. Not knowing anything about it, and seeing it had a "128 ounce capacity," I decided to see if there was a review on iSoaker.com. Sure enough, there was!

Anyway, this thing holds a huge amount of water! More than my CPS 2000! And a 5x nozzle? Ranges aren't bad at all, either, for air-pressure. (30-35 feet) It appears to have a small (200ml) PC, and a huge (unbearable)-capacity pump. Are there any plans to improve it this year that anyone knows about? This thing sounds impressive!

Whoops, just noticed this in the news section. The Krypton will be increased "to 5 pumps" for 2006. But not a larger PC? What is this gun like? Is it any good?

Haven't tried the 2006 version. The 2005 version holds a lot of water and can push out a decent stream... however, as you seem to have found the review, you should have read that the pumping when pre-pressurized is extremely tough; not too bad for adolescents and older, but may be a serious problem for those younger. Even for older, stronger guys, the pump stiffness will still slow down speed of pumping. As BBT increased the number of pumps required to fill the PC this year, I'm hoping it'll be more comfortable to use while still retaining its CPS-like stream behaviour.

Cool! Is it worth it to get it? With the small-sized PC but large Tank (and fast reload time) is it any good?

Here's how I see it. With the pump problem fixed, the only other negative is the small PC. But if you can repump in five pumps, does it really matter? With the 5x nozzle and all, this sounds pretty good. How much did yours cost, and where did you get it? Oh, and it's too bad BB doesn't have an online store. It might do well. (hint-hint Big Bee) ;)

If BBT managed to make the pumping easier while still maintaining the minimal-pumps-to-maximum pressure going, then they have the best (IMO) air-pressure-system available. While it may not have the huge PC capacity as soakers like the SS300 or Pool Pumper Blaster, the streams produced by the Aqua-Master Pre-Charger series are very smooth and solid. Shot time for the larger nozzle is on the shorter side, but heck, if the re-pump is quick, it's still good. Besides, pushing 200mL of water onto someone isn't something that can easily be ingored. However, tests on the 2006 model are needed to see whether it is more acceptable (though I'd still expect it to be stiffer than standard pumps).

As for prices, I don't recall, but I'm guessing ~$20.00-25.00 Cdn.

Hopefully the BBT website gets updated soon.

I'm pretty sure the '06 Krypton is going to use a 1/2" pump this year, like the Argon and Xenon, so the pumping difficulty should be around the same as those (which isn't very difficult).

I agree with isoaker, with an easier pump it will make a great gun. A 200ml PC may be small, but don't forget that all 200ml of that is usable, and the shots are quite powerful. Compare this to regular air pressure soakers, which can only make good use of 1/3 to 1/2 of their PC capacity before you need to repump again to get good pressure. However I still would like it if the PC was larger though.
