Awesome find. But it has 5 days left and in that time it will probably go to above $50. There is also a 2nd 3000 on ebay at $41, although I personally perfer cps 3200's because of the better durability. One more thing. I checed the Ebay US home page and it did not show that , did you find that on ebay UK?

Nope. I only use standard ebay(US version) and sometimes the Canadian ebay.
That auction had "SuperSoaker" instead of "Super Soaker", which is probably why you did not find it.

The end price was $71 on the NIB cps 3000. Way to much in my opinion.

"EES" for $0.01+$12. And that EES looks much better than other EEs models in the past. It has a certain similarity to a SC 600 with box, quickfill and broken guard. (Hint: Its a SC 600 with box, quickfill and broken guard. )

DANG! I lost the cps 1200, I sniped with 2 minutes to go and I was the high bidder when i checked at 16 seconds, then I checked when it ended and I was out bid by $.50. So the winning bidder must have been using a auction sniper.

Start Rant:

I hate auction sniper . Auction sniper in my opinion is for stupid idiots who don't even have the brain power to time their bids. It's cheating in my opinion, and all Ebay members that use it should be suspended. Auction sniper in and of it's self is a big rip off and Ebay should do more to stop it's use.

End Rant:

I honestly don't think anyone else was using an automated sniping program. 16 seconds is easily enough time to manually snipe an item, I know because I've done it. 2 minutes is too early, you should have waited at least until 30 seconds. Automated programs usually are set to snipe in the last .10-5 seconds of an auction-no one would set theirs at 16. If they did that, they could be outbid by a manual bid. Simple logic.

I outbidded someone in the last 5 seconds, and someone outbidded me while competing with another 3rd bidder. The item jumped from $21-$275 in the last 2 seconds.

I would have done that but I have dial up and my computer clock is off seconds. One time I tried to snipe with 5 seconds left, and it didn't put in my bid because my computer is just to slow. Besides, I have won a past auction by sniping with 2 minutes

Only if you have a superfast Cox 15Mbps high speed internet connection, dial-up just dosen't cut it.

Last month I did research on sniping software brands and none of them recommend setting it snipe with less than 2 seconds.

I've been outsniped once where I put in my bid with 3 seconds left and was oputbid by a program. Dial up is a good reason to not wait until the final few seconds, but a 2 minute time period is really vulnerable, especially on good guns that are in demand.

I've succesfully sniped with 16 seconds or less remaining on a 256Kb connection.

^ That's because your computer runs at 256KB, mine only runs at 26.4.

I think you misunderstood the point of my statement - it was that you don't need ultra-fast broadband to snipe. Admittedly, having been stuck on dial-up for years, sniping isn't so much of an option then.

That's still not as bad as the fake 1500's. They're selling them at my dollar "plus" store for $8 now.

Actualy, since 2003 the "Super Shooter 2000" is a perfect CPS1000 replica to the smallest detail even having a bad CPS system. The only thing that seperates the Replica from the original is the sling. So CPS1000 fakes have been around for awhile now. Many members in the forums even own one.
That's still not as bad as the fake 1500's. They're selling them at my dollar "plus" store for $8 now.

What I meant is, that the new "Low" was reached by emulating a bad original in the 3A knock off. At least the CPS1500 knockoffs had a higher design goal. The 3A knockoff took one of the worst design picks to choose from. Basicaly, if someone makes knockoffs, they might aswell aim for a respected model.
The 3A is something like a "Low self-esteem fake."

Monster XL 2003

The ugliest paintjob I have seen, and the bipods have been removed. But it has a low price at the moment and with some new(and very different ... very, very different) paintjob, this model should be re-sellable above $100 next summer.
If this one won't go over $25, while CPS4100s sell for $50, then bidders are not just getting more desperate, but also dumber.

That's not a terrible paint job, infact it's quite good actually the only thing wrong is the paint around the nozzles could have been sprayed on better. Camo paint jobs are among the hardest to do in my opinion. The Moster XL itself will still go over $35 because it's still in demand, regardless of whether or not it has a bi-pod.
