What do you look at when you're working on the computer?

Post up screen captures of your desktop in this thread. If you need an image hosted, please email it to me and I will PM you with the location of the file. I'll push up my desktop image soon.

Somewhat sloppy organization, but it serves for my purposes. I should get pictures up of my Linux PC where I have done most of my SSCentral work on, but I'm not there right now.

for the sake of load-up time, i ask that everyone follows the conventions exemplified above with the simple link to the image instead of itegrating the actual image with your post. and yeah, spider solitaire is addicting.. so addicting that if i need a fix, i dont have the time to go through the start menu, i need a shortcut.

I don't know how people can cope with their icons all down one side. I have to have mine layed out neatly around the outside.

I rarely see my desktop while I'm 'working' - I almost always have enough windows open to completely cover it! I have a pretty neat desktop wallpaper (doesn't that just sound wrong?) when I'm in Linux, though... I'll post it up when I can...

I rarely see my desktop while I'm 'working'

As is the case with me. However, when listening to music or just doing some little things, I get to see more of my desktop, speaking of which, here's the link.

^ Yup.. Start on top.. makes everything behave like a pull-down menu. It was a little strange at first after all those years having it on the bottom, but now that it's up there, I've grown quite fond of the new placement.

Interesting desktop, Soakologist. Just not sure I like the fact the majority of the background is white. White paper is good; white screens feel too bright to me.

My background image is one of these: (I like to change it every so often):

I did them both in photoshop by editing photos I got online.
