sniper mod
this is nearly the same as scopes, exept you can have a mirror or compass on it, not sure what you would use the mirror for though

Personally the most useful sight would be a scope, but I'm not that crazy. What I have tried that works really good for it's price is taking some 1/2" ID PVC about half a foot long and taping that onto your soaker. Make sure it's lined up good from the nozzle to your eye, that takes some work but in the long run that's a great scope for it's price.

Even on my homemades the max range is still doesn't need a scope. You can get 55-60 feet on a good first generation homemade, but you still would not need a scope on that. I've been happy using a PVC sight even on my longer range Nerf homemade. With practice you can get along fine without a scope or anything anyway.
First let’s get into a little general synopsis of REAL Snipers. Real snipers use sniper rifles to fire at a target up to a mile away, to 5 miles away. The Scope is a primary tool attached to the gun in order for the sniper to accurately hit its target. The maximum I have heard for a water blaster is just under 70 feet, so a scope isn't really at all necessary, unless it’s shooting 200 feet.

Having Binoculars attached to your soaker kind of defeats the purpose for having them at all. It actually would make it harder to see.Since I am a sniper, this mod didn't help me out all too much. The target was blurry, and i had trouble aiming. Binoculars are best used off the soaker and with scouts or snipers, rather than attached to the soaker. While it is a neat concept attemting to improve combat capability, it doesn't exactly "push the envelope" on water warfare. Keep working on it!CPS wrote:thats the kind iv'e been talking about the whole time
