A look at the internals of the Spyra One:

(Otherwise, I've been busy lately but am hoping to start working through the backlog of posts made over the last month.)

Wow, that looks very high-quality. Not sure I like having all those electronics in there though; I hope they're waterproofed well.

Has anyone gotten one of these yet?

I think it's still in transit somewhere.

My Spyra One came in today. I won't open the box for a few days to quarantine it, but I'll let you all know about it in the coming week.

Same, my Spyra One has arrived, but I'm aging the box several days first.

Ben has taken his out of the box and has charged it, but I don't think he has tested it yet. I picked it up and the handling seemed adequate, though I did not fire it.

I have my Spyra One but have no had time to do any detailed tests yet. I can say that I'm impressed by the build quality and expect this blaster to last a lot longer than the CPS series.

I'll see about doing some tests on a weekday afternoon this week. Other priorities take precedence today.

I’m hopeful that this thing will rival the 1200’s in power even if it’s limited to tapshots. Spyra seems to think that a water gun should only be fired flat, and based on the range claims and shot volume claims and duration of each shot I’m expecting a 5x nozzle and 40-42’ out of it angled range. But I’ve never seen one in the flesh and I could be way off base.

Worst case it proves itself a useful pumpless light primary in the same vain as the Splashzooka, Speedloaders, and Storm T Shock But that can be filled out in the woods.
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity. :oo:

I've been busy and still haven't got around to reviewing my Spyra One yet (along with everything else hobby-related I haven't done, lol). Am planning to, but who knows when. Maybe the dead of winter...
