My first APH build

Post by Mister Smitty » Sun Oct 14, 2012 5:31 pm

This morning I bought about half of the needed materials to complete a pretty basic APH. So far, it's shaping up nice, although rather odd (sorry about the blur- dark room; long exposure:)

You'll notice it's got a huge honking check valve. As it turns out, it was a whole lot cheaper to buy one of the 1-1/2" monsters and the needed bushings then to just get the ordinary 1/2 incher. Later I'll ct some pipe, glue it up, and post some pics. Suggestions would be very appreciated!

At least you shouldn't have any problems with pump lag due to a small check valve!
