Awesome Potential Project: Sentinel

Ok, this is a Modified Nerf Gun

Now, someone just has to do something similar with a water gun!

Any takers?

It could be done with a pneumatic water balloon launcher. WBL's already use sprinkler valves and those are easiest to activate electronically. The problem here is that a reload mechanism is needed, and of couse, safety concerns.

But it's more complicated than just being able to turn a water gun/balloon launcher electronically and fire it. Water and electronics don't mix and it's easy to "disable" such a sentry; making it water resistant will take considerable work on its own.

That's cool, but they should have done it with the RF 20. I hate the Vulcan...

Yeah. I call the Vulcan: "The Hydroblitz of Nerf."

But it certainly would be cool to have something like this for a water blaster/balloon launcher. How much did all this stuff cost anyway?

This Infrared Seeking Sentinel is indeed a marvelous piece of work. Can’t just imagine how useful this gun can be in real life. Certainly it is a brain work done in a very good design. This gun can be used in our gardens to scare off the animals sneaking in to our garden. It is an automatic gun and is not so dangerous to cause harm to any human being. Many changes can also be done with design if we implement a water balloon into it.

This also might be able to be done with a Tarantula, or a homemade blaster with a solonoid valve. Maybe we could replace the Scorpion's trigger with some sort of electric valve and then it would automaticly repump.

Haha, a Radio COntrolled watergun :D

Ok, so: You haunt your enemy towards this RC battle station, and when is next to you, you fire at him from both sides :D

Good concept but this would be much work^^ And I doubt the usefulnes of such a battle station in a water warfare...

This might also be able to be done with the Thunderstorm, but then it would run out of water in a couple seconds. :goofy:
