Time to update that entry...look what I found in great numbers at Loblaws:

Yes indeedy, the Max-D 2000 has returned! I loved that watergun, and it warms my heart to see this mass produced yet again. It's hard to see in the photos, but the Super Soaker logo is embeded onto the side of the gun. Other than modernization of the logos, warning, and such, the gun is identical. There are two available color patterns, this blue one being one of them. Thank the heavens that they have a dark colourscheme now, which will make it greatly conceilable. The orange/yellow/green one is my old Larami model.

Performance wise, the gun is still as good as ever. I found no difference in performance, range, and storage capacity. I thought it may be very slightly lighter in stock weight, but that could just be me.

Look for them. Hopefully we'll be seeing more re-releases in the future. :)

Sorry Mate but where the heck have you been? The Max-D 2000 never went out of production! They are everywhere! Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, all of them!

The MD3k is pretty good too, but the handle is horrible. On the other hand, the MD2k's capacity is somewhat lacking.

Any reports of broken triggers yet? I've always considered that I should've gotten WW pistols instead of MD's because of that. Performance-wise, they seem to be similar, but from what I know, BBT's pistols don't have any of those dumb trigger guards that go around the hand and severely restrict room. (My hand's not that big either, I can operate a Max-D 5k comfortably)

No broken triggers for me, though one of my older Larami Max-D 2000's has a cap problem; it keeps leaking air and water, and I can't find the hole or problem anywhere!

Maybe someone can help me. :goofy:
