I had a Flash Flood for at least two years before I eventually gave it to a friend. I had no troubles with it at all. In what way is the trigger broken? Maybe I/others here will be able to render assistance.

I've had a FF for a couple of months now, and nothing happened to it. I think it's just yours.

The Flash Flood has an awful trigger design. I think the issue is actually just because they use a very weak spring (the spring is very thin), and my own FF's trigger broke too.

You have a few options, the most common being manually repairing the soaker yourself (there's plenty of documentation on this in the Super Soaker Central forums), or asking Hasbro for a replacement. When asking for such replacements, they'll probably ask you to send in the broken gun. (but this is a recent change, if at all, previously they'd just send a replacement without even asking for serial numbers, etc.) Just remember, the replacement they send you will probably break again. I believe the Arctic Blast may have better designed triggers, and operates nearly the same as the Flash Flood. (just want to do some nozzle modifications for best performance)

Yeah, Flash Flood triggers are notorious for breaking as others have noted before. Even one of my own Flash Floods had its Flood Nozzle trigger fail and I was forced to do a rubberband repair on it. Didn't record the steps, though. If you can get it replaced, it's simpler than doing a repair, though the new one would still likely have a fragile trigger as well. If you opted to try to repair it, if you can share pictures, we could probably help you with the repair process.

My FF's trigger broke, too, but that's partly 'cause my little brother left it outside and in the basement all year.

Just wondering, how would it break if it was left alone?

My first FF had the same thing happen. This is the main thing that has turned me off of newer supersoakers. I bought a second generation CPS 4100 for just $7 and I was so excited, but the trigger broke, I have had a Liquidator, 2 Max D 5000s, 2 Max D 6000s, a Flash Flood, and an Aquapack Devastator all break on me. For this very reason I have not repurchased any of these blasters, with the exception of the FF. I bought a whole lot of XP 70s and XP 20s instead when they were in rereleased. I don't have enough time to fix all my blasters, nor do I have the money to keep buying new Max Ds.

M4, that's gotta suck. Did you see if you could get replacements from Hasbro? (would've been a good idea but now they don't have half of those guns anymore)

I had the same triger problem, exept worse. OK so ferst the flood nosle (I'm bad at speeling sorry) gets jamed, (I took the scroows out and then noticed it was glued together!) then the triger broke, (It still worked as a pump ation blaster though) then the flood nosle triger brakes! So it continuisly shot the flood and regular stream only 1'! I did try one of my frinds Artic blasts, but I didn't like it as much sence the flood went wider and not as far. I also didn't like it that much because the water intank is in the front so you have to tilt it down when low on water.

As the hydroblitz is a very new gun, I haven't heard anything about it breaking from anyone. What exactly did happen for it to have broken? What is the problem and how did it happen?

How have you been enjoying the Big Trouble? it's definitely a great gun. Is it better than anything you have so far? I'd think so, as your collection seems to be this year or last only.

Yep, definitely! And what makes it cooler, is that you don't have to pump! And the backpack is so tiny!
