Fortifications
well, first i should tell you that i live in vermont, so there is a huge forest behind my house. on one end, i built a small bunker out of wood which is basically just some wood panelling(sp?) and old cabinet doors nailed to trees. right behind the bunker, there's a target practice area with hanging milk jugs and some pie plates nailed to trees, among other things, that me and my friend spraypainted. beyond that, deeper into the woods, i am building a Treefort so that if i do any major battles, there are two main bases. i'm going to build a tower on one of the trees next to the tree fort to snipe from, and i hope to build more walls and a roof onto the bunker. i'll have pictures up soon.
-The Wizard of Water
This would be my idea of a perfect treehouseb base:
1. It would have to be very large, about 15' x 15', so you could store water. The usable space (that is, not filled by water or WBs) would be about 10' x 10'. It would be 10' high, so you would have approximately 200 cu. ft. of water storage and 50 cu. ft. of other stuff.
2. A water gun turret. It would be underneath the treehouse and have 50'+ range with two different "barrels". There would be a crank/chainsaw-starter pump to pressurize, and two electric firing valves.
3. A WBL semi-mounted on the roof. There would be a strong plexiglas circle so you could see out, with a periscope pointed in the same direction as the WBL. The balloon would be loaded through the inside, similar to a rifle. It could be angled to shoot at any angle and direction. The aimer would pressurize it through a pedal system, like that found on a bike.
4. A WSD (Water Sheet Device). This is automatically pressurized, and can shoot anywhere around the base of the treehouse. It uses a lot of water, but creates a solid "curtain" around the base that soaks anyone. Perfect for 1HK, but only about a 15' range.

i'm going to build a half underground half above ground fort (in my back yard when my neighbors finally get a backhoe) (for renevation i can borrow theirs for free so i won't have to dig) but at the same time my step dad is turning the garage into a office so i can have electricity and perhaps running water
i was thinking, cinder blocks might be a bit expensive but would be good for a base. just stack them and where you want peepholes to shoot out of you just turn them on its side so that the sides with the holes are facing out. and to prevent sneak attacks you can mabye nail one corner of a small piece of plexiglass to it. to see out of and stay protected.

ah. i see. but i was thinking that wb's would make cause the tarp to fall inwards. but if you secure the tarp enough it would be fine and the wb's would just pop. next chance i get i'll do that. but the only place i know of where a good water war can happen is a park and someone could easily find it and demolish it. crap...
Have you ever seen this item?
It looks pretty cool, except for the range.
