What do you think makes the best backpack tanker? Things to keep in mind are shot times and capacity.

I don't know how other members feel, but good poll there. I like it. One note: you might have put the CPS 3000 and 3200 together, but they do have some differences, so maybe not.

I voted CPS 3200. From Wild Boys' report, the SS 300/XP 300 might be a close second.

I don't think the CPS 3000 and 3200 should be put together, as they both have a few differences from each other. The 3000's backpack is softer, and is apparently a bit more powerful than 3200, with a little more output, and since it was part of the legendery 98's it probably would.

As for my choice, I'm not sure yet, but I will be soon, so I haven't voted yet. I had a 3200, Power Pak and a Big Trouble once, but I have sold them now.

Pretty good poll I'd say.

I voted the CPS 3200 because it clearly has more power then any of the other blasters.

Ah, SC Powerpack..... Favorite gun I've ever owned.... :;):

No, seriously though, I'm guessing that if I owned a CPS 3000 or a CPS 3200 I would vote for that. But if I'm just going by what I've owned and functionality alone, it would have to be the MI Flash Flood/Backpack combination. Great gun....

But really, I need a 3000/3200....... :cps3000:

I can understand why everyone is voting for the 3000 and 3200, but personally, I voted for the Hydrapack. Simply because it has the best level of conservation (almost a 3 minute shot time, and still would have 1.5L left to refill a blaster or two).

Not everyone, PowerPack is still in second! I'm still depressed that I lost the auction for the PowerPack/CPS 1000 combo last week.... :bm1000:

Actually, I saw a bunch of Hydrapacks at a KB Toy Works north of where I lived and I was considering getting one (I ultimately decided on a 2006 Blazer, a descision I haven't regretted ^_^). Would you suggest it for the average CPS 2100/4100 user? I'm assuming it's make a nice backup and it has good stats, but the biggest thing I'm worried about is that none of the people in my league are the least bit intimidated by Water Warriors guns (they're all diehard Super Soaker CPS golden age fans) and I could barely get them to take a Blazer seriously. I still might consider getting one.....

Looks like the CPS 3000 wins with four votes, one over the CPS 3200. Suprised no one voted for the SS300/XP300. And someone voted for the Overload... :p I'd think the SS300 would be a far superior choice.

The SS300/XP300 has a good blaster component, but the tubing and reservoir and, well, the feel of the blaster, itself, is fragile. The backpack on the SS300 isn't as comfortable as the others, either. Power and looks are good, but the rest could use improvement on the SS300/XP300.

The reason why someone voted for the Overload is probably because it is the only backpack gun he/she has, and is probably limited to to what he/she can get. I'm actually considering an Overload again, as my Aquapack Devastator performed well in the first battle I had on last Friday. I know the Overlaod is air pressure, but I may try it.

I still haven't voted yet, for a reason some of you may guess and think, all will be found out soon.

even though you forgot to mention the whole Max Infusion line, I would have to go with the MI FF (not on the poll). It is a fairly strong gun with about 3L capacity if you have an aquapack.

I didn't foget the max infusion line, I just ignored it. Simply because you have to buy a seperate backpack and this poll is for waterguns that already do come with backpacks.

If the Overload is the best you have, then... well... never mind. :goofy:

The CPS 3000/3200 rules supreme in this poll. The Power Pack has the best shot time, but much smaller water capacity compred to the 3000/3200. The SC/XP300 is the only other contester. It has more range, and a larger PC, but not as much water. I'm not sure on the shot time.

I didn't even know what your post count was until just seconds ago. I wasn't even judging you at all in my post there, sorry if I offended you. You're perfectly justified in saying the Overload is your favorite if it's the only backpack gun you own. I was simply making it clear that there are many superior backpack guns to the Overload.

Hope that's cool with you.

As far as tankers are concernd, the CPS 3200 is the best gun you could have.

I TOTALLY agree. My brother has one, and it is a fearsome object indeed. I can counter it only with my CPS 1700 (which is basicly a backpackless 3200 with no 20x) my CPS 2000's range, and my MXL's shot time soakage, and "presence" if you know what I mean. The 3200 only has one weakness: range on the poorer side. But still way better than anything nowadays.
