Well, I meant to post it this morning, but got delayed. Truth is stranger than fiction. The thing is, once seen, you cannot just erase your vision.

In the words of Wayne Brady, that is all sorts of wrong. Wrong on all possible levels.

I was kinda half-expecting that yesterday on April Fool's that someone would announce that their Sport's Authority got in a gigantic shipment of 1200's, 1700's, 2000s and MXLs and post a photoshopped picture.
Actually, even if I had the insane photoshopping skills, I don't think I'd have the heart to do that.....

How many of you are familiar with my story about finding 30 CPS2500s for $20 a piece? In 01/02 to be exact.
I'm still kicking myself over that one.

I'm still kicking myself for being at a good ol' end-of-season-sale back in 1996, looking at a bin full of CPS2000s at 50% off and thinking (I got one already... if I need, I'll pick up another or a bigger one next year...)
Well, shouldn't linger on the past. Must look forward. With inflation taken into account, that would probably work out to close to $45-$50 in current prices (though I doubt anyone here would complain if they were able to buy one at those prices ).

For the young generations this seems all suprising, while for us older guys this all brings back memories. My local Zellers store(which went out of buisness now to be replaced by a pointless Home Depot) had 3 Isles of CPS2000s for that price and all I was thinking back then was "I might am getting to old for that stuff", and passed by them. Anyways, my point is the 90s kicked asses left and right, while the post millenium sucks on them (and not just with soakers). And I didn't even see it coming.

Ahhh, the good old days. Sad that this brand didn't continue its original promise of "continuing to improve our products" or something like that that I read on the archived Super Soaker site from like 1999. That picture makes me sad... things could have been better. We've lost the 10+ years of progress made in soakers.
EDIT: iSoaker, could you make that into a downloadable wallpaper? I might want to have that as my desktop, with some added text on it of course. :p

"Look! a CPS 2000 10th anniversary edition! I'll buy two, one to keep, and one to use!"
*Takes them home, opens one, fills it, and pumps it up.*
"snap!"
"Oops, I guess it had a Max-D trigger."
