How have I never posted in this thread?! I only regularly use ~50% of the water guns that I own, so I'll just list those:

Stock:
XP 240
MD 3000
CPS 2100 (x3)
WW Tiger Shark
WW Equalizer
WW Vanquisher

Modded:
CPS 21k (30 balloon K-Mod, PRV removed, paintjob, blahblahblah)

HBWW holdings now has the following in possession:

Broken:
XP270 (res cap area broken and leaky)
MD2k (res leak)
Red S750 (res leak)

Working:
CPS 2500
2000
(3) Splashzooka
Blue S750

All of the above are officially owned by friends, but have been unofficially annexed into HBWW's Official Armory. It's better that way too, as I actually take care of the darned things.

I would, but three things stop me:
1.Almost flat broke (Working on getting a new Laptop Screen)

2. Mom doesn't like Ebay. (We DO have a hall of Shame, Right?)

3. Pickings are S-L-I-M! It's Summer, not Winter, and I don't anything much bigger then a Scatter Blast

I wish there was a Water Gun Archive Store, where a young Water Warrior can purchase a CPS at a reasonable price. That, or I buy it off the 2nd guy who posted on here............

I got a CPS 2100 for $26 just a little while ago, during the summer. The summer has better selection, and higher prices. Spring and early summer are ideal. By august, you will likely be seeing broken guns, which can be great if you can fix them, and the sellwr acknoledges that they are broken, lowering the price substantially.

Nice! Do you notice any differences in preformance between the Sphinx and the Lightning? I like how you have 1 of each sub-line of CPS. Very nice. That is pretty much my dream arsenal, with a few changes. Very balanced, not too big.

I only have a few

MAIN:
Super Soaker CPS 2500 - Extremely powerful and versatile, and can soak anyone in seconds.

SIDE ARMS:
Super Soaker EES Sonic - everyone seems to hate this gun, but it makes an excellent sidearm.
Water Warriors Goblin - I pull this out to fight my way back to the hose when my other guns run out. Good for a gun it's size.

SECONDARY:
Super Soaker AquaShock Sneak Attack - Probably the best piston based blaster.
Super Soaker Bottle Shot - I use this when I need a lot of ammo.
Shield Blaster Cruncher 4000 - again, everyone seems to hate this one but it's actually pretty neat.

OTHER:
Super Soaker XP 215 - I always keep this in my pocket because it can sometimes come in handy
Super Soaker Quick Blast - Not very useful in a war, I usually give it to my friends if they don't have any guns.
2 Super Soaker Vaporizers - I give these to my friends in wars if they don't have guns... these are pretty horrible.
Some sort of CPS 1500 knockoff - I don't use this much, it leaks everywhere and gets me wetter than my opponent.
Water Warriors Argon - I really hate this one.

I bought most of these guns when I used to think that piston-based blasters were better than air-based and elastic-based blasters, so that's why I have so many piston guns.

The argon was an attempt by BBT to get around the CPS patent. It wasn't exactly very succesful, but it's nice to know that they're trying.

The hate for EES stems not entirely from preformance, but from what they replaced. The CPS line. Lights and sounds are WAY better than guns that shoot 50 feet, right?

By the way, the steam machines could take on a sneak attack and win any day. They are awesome.

Didn't see this thread before! Just goes to show how little I can be bothered to look sometimes!

My armoury is small, but acceptable. I do intend to enlarge it when (and if!) better blasters (and more money) come along.

Current Stock:
1x SS XP70 (my first and favourite; 1998 yellow version)
1x SS MI FlashFlood (the newer blue version with a 3 litre backpack reservoir option)

Current Homemade:
1x AR-1.1 Typhoon (copper homemade with a 20 litre backpack reservoir option; has been refined with QFD system and is smaller than the AR-1.0 version)

Soon-to-have Stock (hopefully)
1x WW Gorgon (decent high-ish range blaster)
2x WW Stingray (small but powerful PR pistols; newer green/yellow colour)

Other:
1x Mag-fed squirt gun (yellow, with clip-on holster and clip-on mag holders)
2x BK MIIB piston squirt guns (not too bad for squirt guns)

various crappy squirt guns!

Interestingly, blue MI FF's are still available in the UK at Argos (although not at any of my local stores)!

Not if I'm using it. The Sneak Attack is not nearly as powerful as a Stream Machine (It is still the most powerful piston blaster I've used, with a thicker stream than most Hasbro guns, and I can almost nail the 40' mark with it.), but it has something extremely crucial that the Stream Machine lacks; a reservoir. If you can keep a Stream Machine user away from a water source, he/she has no chance. Basically, wait for the 'Machine to fire (It's not that hard to dodge.), then rush it, and you've got a hit. Of course, there are many situations where a Stream Machine can have a huge advantage, like where we were fighting in the community war (And that was because there were other people providing covering fire.), or on a boat.

For a complete list of my armory, see my profile.

Why leave you advantage behind? Buckets are great. Try dodging a spray pattern- it is ~1L of water flying at you.

PVC Piston Pumpers > Stream Machines. Range in the mid to upper 50s with a 1 1/4" shaft and a lousy o-ring seal. Adding a check valve allows it to take a reservoir. Only downside is that the reservoir version might require 2 check valves, otherwise you'll draw air, and the 2nd one breaks up laminar flow. Still the best performing, cheapest, and easiest to make homemade for its size and effort level.
