WWF Stone Cold Steve Austin review

Post by Aqua_Flash » Mon Dec 03, 2007 12:11 pm

Today I found statistics of the Super Soaker WWF Stone Cold Steve Austin I used to have, so I did one of my reviews on it.

Sadly little is known about this gun, for anyone who is unsure, this was more of a novelty gun released by Larami in 2000, which actually used CPS technology.

Now there is some more information about the gun on Aqua Flash in the form of a review. Here's the link:

Cool! There's one soaker I looked for but never got my hands on one. Thanks for posting up pics and your review! I'm still looking for one... :goofy:

I've always been interested in one of these as well, however I don't think that I'd have any luck getting one, or for that matter any of the CPS Star Wars novelty ones. The best I, or any of us can do, I think, is to continue browsing Ebay, for things tend to pop up there.
Ebay really is wonderful like that, you never know what you'll find.

That's odd, as soon as I say they are hard to come by, one of them comes up on eBay new in box. Somebody must do this on purpose! All I can say is collectors I advise you to keep an eye on it.

Oh come on! Blowing Ebay secrets is soooo low. Back the drawing board now that everyone knows about that NIB one.

Well sorry, I didn't mean to purposefully ruin things like that in that sort of way, at least I didn't link it. If you moan at me about that then moan at everyone who has mentioned an eBay auction in the past like that.

Thanks for pointing it out, although I would've seen it anyway as I check the super soaker listings daily. You just gave me a heads up. I'm the high bidder right now, but the reserve isn't met... we'll see.

Shipping on that one is particularly high, IMO. Not sure it is worth it when you add on shipping.

Yep, I talked to him and he got me a different rate for parcel post. Approximately 10.00 is what he'll charge me, so I'm not worried about that>.. This is lucky because I'm running low on money, I keep buying soakers, and I just bought Rock Band for 360... I think I'll need to stop spending soon...

Good review. I have the Stone Cold. It needs a new pump though. I personally love it. I like how you noted that it only gets 1.4 shots per tank, sorta like the SC 600. You have a lot of leeway to fire without having to pump, but you'd better pump when you've got the time or else you'll be left high and dry. Speaking of the 600, in my opinion the performance is a lot like the 600 but with a little more range and just a tiny bit less soaking power.
