(Remember that this is my opinion on these two guns)
I just got my cps 2500 for a bargain, and I descided to test it againist the 2000 mk1 in performance.
First lets talking the differences.
Cps 2500: 3 nozzles, 650ml gauge, super soaker strap labeled (super soaker) ,red tank, and different shaped nozzles. Tethered cap.
Cps 2000 Mk1:One big nozzle, 750-900ml gauge, Mine is labeled "air pressure" no super soaker label on strap, purple body and tank, no tethered cap.
Performace:
Cps 2500
5x 29ft(Normal) 45ft(Angeled)
10x 30ft (Normal) 47ft (Angeled)
20x 27ft (Normal) 39ft (Angeled)
Cps 2000
25x 33ft(Normal) 52ft (Angeled)
In terms of performance the Cps 2000 was better.
Power: The Cps 2000 is more powerful than the CPS 2500.
Mobilty: Equal
Soakage:CPS 2000 in terms of output.
Durablity:CPS 2500 because better bladder.
Relablity: CPS 2500.
In conclusion, the CPS 2000 MK1 is much better in power, bigger bladder, and output. However the CPS 2500 feels more durable, and is very verstile compare to the CPS 2000 which makes it better for overall water wars.
Feel free to talk about this. Also cps 2500 review is coming up when I have time. Cps 2000 review might come later.
CPS 2000 Mk1 vs CPS 2500.
Re: CPS 2000 Mk1 vs CPS 2500.
The CPS 2500 is essentially a CPS 2000 Mk2 without the flow straightening straws and a nozzle selector slapped on. Even if you stuck the CPS 2000 Mk1's bladder in the CPS 2500 you would not see much difference in performance. By choosing a 2500 you are sacrificing some range for longer play time and flexibility.
Re: CPS 2000 Mk1 vs CPS 2500.
The bladder is more of its output, its the nozzle and how its arranged that affects the power and range i believe. And your right on the last part.
Re: CPS 2000 Mk1 vs CPS 2500.
What I'm trying to get across to you is the reason the CPS 2000 shoots further is the flow straightening straws. Everything else between them is essentially the same.
