Your go to blaster?

Post by the oncoming storm » Fri Jul 18, 2014 1:16 pm

We all have one blaster that we love and use much more general water fights, whats yours?

Gorgon, man I loved this thing. It had more than enough field life, the power to soak (and intimidate) on the 10x nozzle drill, and the agility to get in close enough to hit some poor sap with a full chamber.
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity. :oo:

CPS 2000. You shoot it at someone and they get hit. Not even attempting to block the stream with your blaster will save you.

Of course, the blaster I've used the most would be the 2700, but that's mainly because at first I didn't have anything better, and later because everything else wasn't working well. However now my 2000 is actually in the best condition, so the 2700 only gets brought as backup.

I second SEAL about the 2000. Even though there are many more practical options, it is just very powerful.

My trusty CPS 1500 is my go-to blaster. It's a great all-around blaster, with enough power to intimidate (and soak) most opponents, while still being easy to pump, shoot and carry. The reservoir holds enough water for some serious staying power.

I've rotated fairly evenly between medium CPS's, but it always comes down to the 1000 or 1200, especially when extra mobility is needed.

The CPS 1700 was my first and only one for a long time and I still like it the most. It's just an outstanding compromise between mobility, power, a large PC and reservoir.
I soon bought some WW Vindicators, they seemed nice at the first moment, but dude, it's just not the same as the good old CPS blasters. They didn't feel that good to carry, bad balance and the pump got quite jammed soon.
