Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
I want to know which of these two blasters you would prefer to use in the same tactical role as XP 150 (That is fast attack), when facing off against say a CPS 1200k.

I have both, and I have to say I prefer the 275. The 250 is great, but the 275 basically outclasses it in every way. You can even turn one selector on the 275 1/8th of a turn and fire it on one nozzle. The biggest advantage the 250 has is maneuverability.

I prefer the 275. It seems kinda clunky, but it really works well.

I haven't used either; would be a good try for duelfests though.
The 250 looks less balanced, but also has a slight edge on PC capacity and pump volume, which IMO should offset the lower reservoir capacity. Plus, it doesn't have the dual nozzles. (Although it's trivial to plug up one of them.)

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
The 275 has an awkward strap placement BUT the pump is massive, the reservoir and PC are massive, and the output outclasses every other XP blaster. Enough said.

Sorry for pulling this off topic a bit but, DX says that on all 275's the lever leaks water and gets your hand wet. Can anyone else with a working 275 confirm this or is it just bad luck on his part?

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
Can't decide because I've never used a 250, and they're both very similar on paper. 250 has more power and 275 has more spread. I think in the duelfest the scores were very close with the 275 coming out on top by one point.
Storm: Mine never leaked from the handle, but it did from the valve area. Not sure if that's the same thing.

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
yeah at duelfest the 250 lost 3 to 4. As for what DX said, I copied it word for word from a message I don't know if that's what he meant.
(Edit) What he meant was that 275 valves are very slow to close. After looking at internals I have decided that the return spring is to weak.

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
After holding back for a while I have decided to cast a vote in favor of the 275 because of it's two weaker nozzles greater spread than the 250's single larger one and the resulting advantage in hit probability.

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
Sorry to necro a bit, but I agree with your choice. Also, I got my 275 from DX and it doesn't leak much at all, the valve/trigger on my 250 is a bit worse.

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
The Poll wasn't open long enough for me to choose. I would go with the 275 but only ever so slightly. I fight better with it for some reason, even though the 250 has the advantage in range, shot time, and ergonomics. I guess output and spread is the deciding factor here. I really don't know why I am so good with the 275, if I can call myself that.

I gave this poll 2 weeks M4, I will just have to mentally note that you voted for the 275, (Just like everyone except DX )

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
I would vote for the 250, as that's the one I've had longer. i am also getting a 275 soon, so I'll really be able to tell. I personally like the 250 because I find it easier to carry, the strap is placed little better, and the PC is a little bigger
