I went to walmart today and believe I saw the whole 2014 lineup.

Nothing :goofy: . The only thing different was the stickers on the products, (Interestingly enough though walmart has restocked the old WW gremlin)

It is quite possible this is not their 2014 lineup. Often times they re-release last years blasters with slight alterations as well as what ever new guns they have. I sure hope this is the case, was really hoping for something big and powerful.

They're probably taking it easy this year, but there should be a few new guns, which may not have been there.

...something seems awry. I'll guess it's somewhere between not being as bad as what "the oncoming storm" says and not as good as what "scottthewaterwarrior" hopes. It is an 'even' year, afterall.

Found these today at a local store nearby:

While aimed at younger children, these Water Warriors Power Shot XLs will likely keep pace with the Nerf Super Soaker Alpha Fire, but at less than half the price. Saw some other re-releases, but no other new blasters on the shelves yet.

So which blasters did you see? I'm assuming last year's models (Python 2, Colossus 2, Drench 'n' Blast). Either way, I'm sure there'll be at least some all-new blasters (aside from the squirt pistols) that haven't been seen yet. Not holding my breath for anything better than like a Colossus though.

While I didn't see anything new I hope that walmart just didn't have any new guns in stock. (if they just aren't in stock BBT really needs to update the boxes)

I mean, we knew it was going to happen anyway. Guess I should've appreciated 2010-2012 while I had the chance.

Judging by iSoaker's not-so-coded message, we should expect some new models, but lacking Gorgon or maybe even Colossus power. That is the part I am trying to figure out, how many shades of gray exist below "big" and "powerful".

my guess for this year if anything at this point would be a python 2 replacement.

Why? It's already a near perfect gun. I'm guessing a Colossus replacement plus a few small pistols.

Give it some time. I expect most of last years blasters to be rereleased along with 2 new non quick grips level blasters, and maybe limited rereleases of pre 2013 blasters.

So... are we certain now that this year will just be a bunch of rereleases? I can't find any guns anywhere except Walmart.com which has the Python 2 and Colossus 2.

It's February already. February. Unless BBT is releasing some ergonomic version of the Gorgon, and/or successfully invalidated the CPS patent in a secret court and is releasing a new Vindicator or Vanquisher, we have nothing new going on. Nowadays, we're supposed to shut up and be happy with some PR's and if we're lucky, a small separate air chamber blaster.

Of course, I'm always open to being surprised, but it's never worth counting on these days.

Has anyone seen the Gremlin or Shark this year?

Both are still listed on Buzz Bee Toys' website which appears to have been updated for 2014 so they should be available at some point this year, though it is unclear where.

Anyone know the last going rate for either gun?

My guess would be in the %8.99 to $9.99 USD range for either the Gremlin or Shark.

Wow. I thought they went for only about $5 (at least for the Gremlin).
