I think we can agree that many of those cheap knockoff blasters would be good contenders for the worst gun ever. Dollar store squirt pistols are also down there. (I once used one that broke after a few minutes of shooting.) If we are confined to guns made by the major brands though, I'm probably going to have to vote for the Electrostorm. At least the XP 85 and Backfire could contend with other PR soakers. With the Electrostorm you get spiderweb-strand-sized streams that lazily trickle out to what, >20 feet? I heard some people say that the Flash Blast was worse, but at least it's smaller and lighter (the Electrostorm is actually pretty heavy for its size) and you don't need batteries for it. If the batteries run out in your Electrostorm, you're left with a $20 or whatever paperweight.

Edit: Didn't notice that APH was an option. I suppose a very poorly made one could be a contender, but as far as I know, nobody has made one that is actually worse than some of the new Nerf soakers.

I voted for the Electrostorm. A lot of other guns on the list are pretty lame, but not as bad. Many of the bad guns on the list also were gimmicks, while the the Helix may be useless in any real water war, it is still one of the coolest guns I own. I myself have no problem with gimmicks (they can be quite fun in laid back soakfests), but when all a company makes are gimmicks, or equally bad blasters, then their is a problem.
Haven't used one, so I don't know for sure, but Flash Blast also sound pretty bad. Though again, it may be useless to war with, it probably would be fun to just "play with."

This does bring to mind another thread idea, the worst Water Warriors gun ever. So many of their guns are really good (at least compared to NSS) that the bad ones are almost never talked about.

I voted for electrostorm but have a feeling the flashblast would be even worse, but I can't say for sure since I've never used it.

I rank the flash-blast higher than the electrostorm, Better range, lighter, higher output, faster response time
