I, too, have slacked off at work (my internship earlier) just to post on WWn during work. (At least I did it off my phone's 4G instead of the office's own internet!)

I like how oncoming storm gives cheesy names to the blasters, while DX simply refers to by name and number.

If that was my drawer for a job, it'd be filled with random blasters taken apart, some tools, random pieces of PVC pipe, etc. That or it'd much more likely be a ton of A/V or networking cables, adapters, computer mice/keyboards, headphones, and other computery stuff.

I don't think anyone really knows exactly what iSoaker does at work other than himself, not even DX. For all we know, he could be making devious plans to make it rain water balloons at Downpour.

So here are the contents of one of my closets. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well I paid a little over 100$ for the contents of each picture.



So that's 31 guns, 29 of which were bought thrifting. Everything works but the SS 100.

Wait there's more...

Everything you see here in this picture but 5 guns were bought at a thrift store. One SPL1000 is in repair.

Of course, this isn't all of my stuff. I have several other good guns, like my SS 300. I also have a few part guns laying around (XP's and such), But everything you see pictured here works (with the exception of the two mentioned). Good times man.

Oh, right, and my little collection of SS guns... which actually cost me less than 9$.

Nice collection. How do you like the 1500 vs 1700?

I don't really know how to respond to that. The guns are almost identical. And I happen to like both the pearlescent blue + green 1700 and the original green + grey 1500 more or less equally. In the case of this specific (pictured) pair of guns, the 1500 has an added 3X setting, whilst the 1700 has a broken strap loop. So I would definitely take this 1500 over this 1700 in battle. The CPS 1500 was very well designed. It has to be one of the most well rounded guns ever made. And it's green. It's definitely one of my favorites.

I should mention that method 2 is slightly less durable and I can't vouch for how well it stays in place (my method has some issues with staying in place too, depending on blaster), and method 4 looks like it will simply remove the cap on the blaster.

Oncoming Storm, you are not alone. I name my guns both cheesey names, "The Typhoon" my 1700, real, but weird person names, "Cleatus" my 1200, and just plain stupid names "Sexy Beast" my 2700, and "The Ejaculator" my 2000. And don't forget my twin 1000s who i named "Purpleup" and "Purpledown."

I have enough trouble with people not knowing blaster names in conversations, adding nicknames would just multiply the trouble.

It does, but i think its fun, even if i am the only one who knows the names. (which i'm not!)
