From what I know, the Flash Flood only got a colour change in '06. Did it get upgraded for the new line of SuperSoakers?
As well as that, I'm considering buying a Flash Flood + Aquapack this weekend. Is it a good idea? My dual WW Hornets have served me well in battle, but I feel I need a new addition to my arsenal.

Um... Ok. I was looking for a more direct answer... That didn't help me much, though. Thanks anyway...
So, list of changes to the '06 flash flood? Anyone?

Really, the only change is the addition of the aquapack and the new colors.

Supposedly the riot blast has more spread in the 06 version, however, in battle there is just about no difference. The new one can use the backpack, but the internal power has not changed.

....and that's why I said go to SI. Their FF is packed with the Overload's pack(100oz), not the AquaPack(50). Making it the best soaker for '06.

The main diff is the Cap design, which changed to allow a MI pack in.

If you get an MI pack with it, DO NOT screw in the cap all the way, as this creates some sort of vacuum in the tank which MESSES your tank up badly/.

Firstly, this topic is over 2 months old. Please read the posting date.

Anyways, I've never had any trouble with vacuums. I just twist the hose into place. I could be seriously messing up my gun, though. But it's working for me.
