Favorite Super Soaker Type - My first poll, but good intro question
Uhhh... Somehow I manage to pulse without an EES gun. You aren't actually saying that EES isn't that bad, right? If so, I'll find you wherever you are!

Yeah, from what I've heard the liquidator isn't a bad gun. But it is just an air-pressure pistol, not effective against CPS.LIGHT ANNIHILATOR wrote:soakerman wrote:EES Beats soakertag! :p
I would perfer a liquidator over a ees Turbine. Even the 04 soakertags beat ees.

Yeah, it's definitely the best pressurization system ever. BTW Soaker Master, what is your armory? You seem to think all these wimpy guns are great, what guns DO you have? ???Soaker Master wrote:I like CPS the best.

? EES is good!! It machine guns...
However, my CPS 2100 & 3200 are my best heavy assault guns. Otherwise, I would like an XP310.

Yeah, from what I've heard the liquidator isn't a bad gun. But it is just an air-pressure pistol, not effective against CPS.
Of course it's not good against CPS, IMO No air pressure soakers are actually 'good agains cps' it would take someone really stupid to go up against a CPS-2000 with an XP-215. The Liquidator may not be the best soaker. But no soaker, especially air pressure soaker, will ever be 'good' if you compare it to a CPS200/2500 or any other CPS for that matter. An XP-240 may be useless against a CPS, but that doesn't mean it's no good. Just my 2 cents :;):

I agree with Soakerman on that one. Just because it isn't good against a big gun doesn't mean its not good at all. I've ran down people with small guns, particularly one guy with a 4100 I chased him with a Storm 500 for about 1/8th of a mile.
I have also engaged CPS 2100's dual-wielding an XP-15 and a XP-215, making that encounter a stalemate. That should tell you something.
The performance of the gun depends on the user.

Be careful about broad, sweeping statements. Most homemades are air pressure, dude. In that case, many, many guns are good, and often better when compared to CPS guns. ???

Definately agree that the user makes a world of a difference. Small guns do not beat large guns and large guns do not beat small guns. Users beat users. I've run down enemies for over 1 1/2 miles with a 2500, yet been run down for a good amount of territory by someone with a smaller gun. It is mostly situation-based, skill-based, or experience, or a mix of the 3. You cannot make broad, sweeping generalizations about what guns are better than others. Because 99.99% of the time, a broad generalization is wrong, and that's in life overall, not just soaking.

Soakers such as the XP Pool Pumper Blaster and the SS300/XP300 could fare very well against most of the large CPS-class cannons as well. Their 3x-sized streams are quite potent and shot times very good. Even the XXP275 pushed a good double-stream and the XP150, while definitely a smaller stream, hada great sting to it and could still fare well against a similarly-skilled CPS-soaker user. Sadly, larger water blasters haven't been made for a few years, but that's likely more for market-based reasons.

And don't forget about the PVC Piston Pumper! :p Over 50ft range, dirt cheap, takes literally 5 minutes to make. Mostly a defensive weapon and must have an open water source, but it pushes out a large stream [depending on what nozzle sizes you made] with great range if you are reasonably strong.

If they would make huge air-pressure cannons I don't think I would object to them. Everyone knows the SS/XP 300 could use some improvments, and then you could have a really good gun, better than it already is.isoaker_com wrote:Soakers such as the XP Pool Pumper Blaster and the SS300/XP300 could fare very well against most of the large CPS-class cannons as well.
