Favourite Soaker Size - ^
I think I voted for the MXL(but I can't remember.) In any case, its has a certain physical presents in a battle(regardless if you win or not) if you can carry the largest soaker available and run with it as if its a CPS 1000 for the competitors. Its a little reward in itself for getting of the computer and working out once in a while. :;):

Okay, I put my vote in the FF range, but I had to fight from putting it in the 1000 category. To me, guns of that size, between FF and smaller CPS sized guns are about perfect. Anything smaller feels kinda puny, but too much bigger can be somewhat restricting of swift movement. (Don't call me weak.) I will say, however, that smaller blasters definitely have their place, either in lower-powered battles, or as back-ups. I'm actually sorry I don't have anything smaller than my XP 70s, other than my old SS 30 and SS 40, which I hesitate to use in actual combat, since I treasure them mainly as collectibles. I would love to have a small pistol-class XP or Max-D.
...anyone wanna hook me up with one?

I will add one more thing for now, which is that plenty of my smaller guns happen to fit really well into my back pack, even one in each of the two biggest compartments, namely the XP 70s. I just need a couple the size that'll fit in my pocket. A storm pistol would be great if I could find one (or any of the others I've already mentioned.) Potential sellers, PM me.

The CPS 2000 weighs 3 or 4 pound empty, and 12-14 pounds full. The MX is almost identical in empty weight and weight full. It's easily manageable, at least for me. I can run fast with it. Of course, I'm a really fast runner.overload09 wrote:ARe you crazy? The 2k weighs 10 pounds already, and the Monster X is like...25!

The MX is the absolute lightest soaker for its size. The first time I held a fully loaded one, I thought it was fake because a soaker that big couldn't possibly be that light, right? Wrong. I was shocked that it felt so darn light. I wouldn't mind dual wielding that, except for the fact that the range is below average against my guns [average in my personal armory is 52ft, and that's going to go way up when both of my new cannon-like homemades are done :p ]
I love sprinting with heavy guns, it gives one huge advantages as long as one watches out for the appropriate counters. I think I'm going to write an article about countering moves and countering counters, since it's one of the biggest things I think about when fighting.

So far I use guns sized from the SC 400 to the CPS 2000/2500. I dual wield until I get to heavier guns, I'd say I could dual wield up to 2 CPS 2100's if I really wanted to. (the most I've dual wielded so far were a flash flood and an SC 400) Otherwise I use one CPS 2000/2500 but they aren't really preferences at that size, but the power makes up for it. I find the straps a bit annoying sometimes and don't really use them since they don't seem to fit perfectly and fall off sometimes, but they work when I'm carrying one without using it, and that's better than putting it down and letting someone steal it. Due to how close the hoses are, I haven't tried backpacks yet, but if I do I'd either use Max Infusion or create a backpack mod. (CPS 3000's are not options since nobody I know has one and the ones on ebay obviously get very expensive)
