What would you guys consider to be the best suited gun for a sniper out of the Max Infusion line of soakers?

None really, they're all just infantary guns.

If you want a straight answer, I would say the Flash Flood because of its riot blast and CPS stream(which isn't that bad of a stream) But if you are going to try to be hidden, then you might want to paint it if you get the '06 version.(bright orange dosen't blend with grass or dirt very well :p )

The Flash Flood is better used as an ambushing gun, not a sniper, since you need longer range to snipe. However, if MI guns are all you have access to, then go with the FF, since that riot blast can take out more than one enemy if used well.

Yea, the FF is the way to go. Remove the metal net on the nozzle in order to add a few feet to your range.

If it reduces the range, why is the net there?

OK, how hard is removing the screen? It comes completely out?

Poke it with something to rip a hole in it, and the use pliers to pull it out.

The screen slows the velocity of the stream, which causes improved cohesion.

So it does come completely out?

So, basically the stream will be more spread out (and weaker), but will have a longer range?

It should, considering how you just need a drill or something similar to it, so that you can just drill out the screen and the extra bits. I am also wondering, can this be done to another gun, say a CPS 2000?

As for older CPSs, aren't the straws/drilled block right behind the screen?

I am still not sure if I want to take the screen out of my Flash Flood. I have made the regular nozzle bigger ( like the stream much better now). I have practiced breaking the screen on a old broken down Flash Flood.

I would really recomend taking the screen out. For mine, there was a small range improvement, and the stream was a little less spread out.

Well I don't know anything about taking the screen out(I don't have one) but to the original topic DON"T GET THE DEFENDER IT'S SO SO AWFUL!

Uh, okay... There's a review up for it on iSoaker.com, and it says the gun is not great, but not bad. An all-round good gun.

I'm back, sorry I've been gone so long, I will try to post more cause it's summer. As previously said the FF is the best MI blaster for sniping, but if you can find one I would reccomend the Aquapack Devastator intead, it has a larger more powerful standard stream, and it's CPS.

The STE Devastator or MI Overload?

Get the Max Infusion Overload, and set it to the wide nozzle. :)
