I recently went to my local target and checked the water gun isle, and I saw a repaint of the Max-D 3000... Old news or new news?

That's old news. They made repaints of the Max-D 3000 last year too.

Wait to buy them at an end of summer sale, too. $18 is too much for pistols that will break after 1-2 years of use.

$18? Hasbro has had a real history of price gouging lately, though I suppose they've always been that way.

haha, a new MAx-D 3000 for 18 Dollars would be a good deal here in Austria :goofy:

O well...If I would be in USA I would go and buy so much Soakers... :goofy:

Some prices of guns that I bought in the past (not discounted)

SS 40 $5
XP 20 $8 2 pack
XP 270 $8
XP 310 $15
XP 150 $15
SS 50 20th Anniv $20
CPS 1000 $20
CPS 1200 $20
CPS 2100 $20
CPS 1700 $25
Ultimate Explorer $20

Some of these might need to adjusted for inflation, but aside from the SS 50 they were all priced much better than an $18 Max D 3000. I don't bother with Max Ds anyway

It's $18 for a twin pack, which is still a horrible price. I got mine for $10. They're powerful sidearms, but I hate how their pumps always droop and extend by themselves. Perhaps that can be fixed without much trouble.

I have to grease up the pump on mine- it's sticking to the point of possible breakage, and isn't getting pressure correctly.
