Who would like to see Bungies Halo 2 weapons, as water guns.

I've drawn some images, only quick drafts, and will post them later.

Who else thinks this is a good idea?

P.s When i post them can someone redo them all neat and tidy please.

:wb1: :) :wb2:

Thinking of a mod? Hopefully Halo 3 will be released for PC.

Lol, you'd need a comp the size of a tank for Halo 3.

Not a mod, if Bungie a Hasbro did a deal and what the guns would be like.

Though a mod using other guns parts could be possible, but a lot of hard work.

If the guns are big, Hasbro won't make any even if they would buy the rights. Retail guns went from "wetter is better" to " smaller makes profit taller". Personaly, I rather see a new CPS 2500 than a Halo gun which would most likely peform like the Star Wars Blasters.

Halo weapons as water guns? Me too thinks it would be like the Star Wars blasters. As cool as it would be to have a plasma rifle as a soaker, it seems like it would hurt the franchise (of Halo).

How would it hurt their franchise?

Do you mean an super soaker expansion pack for Halo CE or manufactured stock guns that look like Halo guns that you can but/use in a water gun battle?

Guns that preform like the guns in Halo.

Like a Double cylinrical CPS Halo sniper rifle.

The way I see it, Halo soakers would seem to make children want to go out and play Halo. Halo is a mature rated game, and there are enough problems with parents blaming video games for why people are going anti-social and killing people. It might be a better example if I put a game like Grand Theft Auto in place of Halo, see what I mean?

Some will say "Oh, Halo isn't all that bad for little kids". Sure, kids may get over killing other things, alien or not, but then they want to start playing online multiplayer, and thats when they start with the screaming and whining. Sorry, thats what grinds my gears. I'm sure you can tell I've had some bad times online. Even if you are a younger kid who plays Halo and plays it with respect, please understand where I'm coming from.

I guess thats another discussion for another fourm, sorrys.

I think that this would be an Ok idea, however they probably would not be very good bacause they would have a Halo theme, and focus more on the Halo theme than actual performance.

No way. I really love the design of water guns the way they are. Not only do they have water as their primary function, but their also designed around its function to be asthetically pleasing. For Halo 2 they'd worry too much about making it look like it does in the game and not worry enough about the functionality. Likewise, an expansion pack for halo including water guns i think owuld be just as dumb.

This would be great as a game mod, but as actual soakers?...um...
I actually don't have much of an opinion on it. I don't care how people use/waste their own money. I personally wouldn't buy one of these, but if you know my soaker spending trends, that is not saying much... :p

HA! I agree. I am anoyed anyways from all those dumb kids who can't read the "ID age Check" on the store front and clog up the line on the release dates. I had to wait 30 minutes in line just to get my GTA copy. Unless you are 18, you can't buy it since its rate "M". Case closed.
Hasbro targets the 6-11 age group anyways, so there is no place for Halo.

Another Halo fanboy, I see... personally, I'm not a very big fan of Halo. Waterguns in the shapes of Halo 2 weapons would certainly look cool, but... Well, to be honest, they'd suck. Just like the Star Wars guns. A needler would be cool, but unfortunately, impossible. ("Oh my GAWD! I've got a water needle stuck in me! Wait, what...?")
