^^^That does not look like a shotgun. It marginally looks like a lever action rifle. Crossed with a blunderbuss.

Wow what a video! That actually fires better than I thought it would. Despite not shooting very far, looks quite a cool concept, I think I might try get one of these.

An internals pic. The PC is VERY small, maybe an inch in diameter and 3 or 4 inches long. Thanks Isoaker.

Could you tell us where it is in that pic? Is it in the yellow thing on the left, or in the spring tube, or what?

I see how it works. You pump water into a chamber with a spring in the rear, and the spring compresses it. That is so simple. :p SharpObjects, you plan on modding it? because maybe you could put a bigger spring in there and get more range. ???

Ahah! I was right (scroll up/go back a page)!
Yo could replace the spring as Crashdummy said, rubber band it if it's possible, maybe some improvements to the trigger valve (it looks a little fragile).

Install a ball valve put in a huge spring, reinforce the gun, enlarge the pc... ZOMG! Realistic shotgun shots. Lol, that would be overkill, but I bet it would get good range.

It sounds like a nerf gun to me. The main difference is in what it shoots. I think that you could just stretch the spring out a bit and get more range. Another good mod would be (as everyone says) to enlarge the pc, I think that you should just replace it with pvc to do that.

Stretching the spring decreases the life of it, and probably even more so with a water gun. I wouldn't recommend that.
This is off topic, but after hearing about stretching nerf springs, I stretched the spring on a clicky pen and now it jumps higher when you launch it! :;):

Lol, I do that too. You ever made a paperclip shooter out of one?

I saw the video and I have some comments. The pc is just way to small and the range is just a bit to low; I also think the capacity is too small also. Lots of modding is needed to make it a good gun.

You take one of those cheapo mechanical pencils, take out the eraser and lead, take off the tip, and break all of thet stuff off at the front so you basically have a big tube with the clip, and a smaller tube with a wide opening on one end to hold the eraser.
Put the little tube in the big one.
Put the eraser back on.
Get a rubber band.
Double up the rubber band and loop it around the big tubes clip.
Take a paper clip, and unbend it into a wierd looking U.
Put the long end in between the eraser and the little tube.
Push the short end of the U paperclip into the eraser, locking the other end of the rubber band into place.
Pull it, and it will work like a slingshot with a barrel.
Oh, big bee is on? Cool. Maybe next year there can be a remake of the Splat Blaster that is slightly bigger all around named the Splat Cannon. Wink wink. :;):

If they did name it the Splat Cannon then that means they would have to change it and make it look like a cannon not a shotgun anymore

That's to much like Super Soakers CPS SplashZooka. If they did name it that then they would be copying Super Soakers CPS SplashZookas name.

No they wouldn't. It's different. You should see the name of the ball blaster they make. "Ball Blast-zoo-ka". Nerf made one called "Ballzooka".
