Depends on how the reservoir is held together. If it's a single piece of plastic molded around the pressure chamber, that'll be hard to work with. Still, since it holds no pressure, you could cut off a piece and duct tape it back on later. It's ugly, though.

Would there be a large increase in power. I like the shot time of the vindicator. I believe it would suffer from the collousas mod but if the power was drastically increased It would be worth it as its power isn't on par with the original cps line.

Well I went ahead and bought the Vindicator.
I was very impressed by its performance Hasbro has not made anything like it in years.
The Vindicator's performance Is VERY close to the old Cps line.
I DEFINITLY recemmend this gun. :D

Oh I tested the range on Blasting Stream I got it to go up to 43 feet and that is its Efective range.

What do you think of the reservoir capacity. Mine seems to never run out. Even more so when I attach my homemade back pack. I thought that the vindicator had a cylindrical pc not a spherical one because spherical ones are patented and the shape of the reservoir.

also if vindicator wascylindrical you could pump the whole reservoir into the pc, for 2 minutes of shot time!!!!!!

Not necessarily, It depends on the size of the chamber. As I mentioned earlier I think spherical bladders are copyrighted. I got replacement caps from buzz bee, For free. A buzz bee cap fits on a CPS 1500, I tried it. I'm gonna get pics up soon of the backpack.

Using an inspection mirrior, you can see that the PC is a type of sphere. To ensure it doesn't go beyond parameters, they are using material(think mini cargo) straps(4) that are sew together forming a "+". Odd

43 feet? Sweet! I think I'll get one when I get the money! Any ranges on other settings?

45 feets pretty good for a midsize blaster, but is it possible to open the reservoir for access to the pc?

thanks

First, there are no "copyrights" on these things, only patents. Second, the only patent directly applicable to using CPS was for a cylindrical chamber designed to expand from front to back. (in other words, it was only for a very specific kind of cylindrical CPS chamber)

@ dragonclass: Good find. Seems to be a bad idea though due to uneven exertion of pressure on the bladder. I previously suspected that PRV's on CPS's were designed to adapt to the very slight pressure increase as the PC expands, and Ben suggested otherwise; that the PC hitting the casing triggers the PRV. The former easily explains weak PRV's, but the latter explains how light k-mods are possible and work so well.

For those who don't have a Vindicator, the most info you can get will come from internal pics. Find them right here on iSc.

Internal pics dont go into what i wanna see namely the inside of the reservoir they only encompass things like the trigger and the tank and pump assembly all of which i am not interested in learning about bcause i already know

when will isoaker be upgradeing his internal picsection because i really wanna know how these things are made

thank you ca-99

dragonclass, by "inspection mirror" do you mean something like what dentists use to inspect teeth? It sounds pretty creative, and now we know for sure what's inside the Vindicator's reservoir.

metaturtle, iSoaker probably didn't want to tear apart his reservoir to look inside, and there really isn't any other way to do it. Either wait for someone else to find out, or buy one and do it yourself. :)

Just wanted to start this new forum off. Definitely yay! This thing rivals my CPS 1000 in power and range and actually once made a little kid cry (It wasn't me, it was my friend).
