I'm new here, but need some quick advice regarding weapon selection.
On August 1st, I'm participating in an assassination mission in New York City. I need help selecting weapons that are small and concealable but powerful. Any suggestions....I'm new to this, but you guys should know!
The event: http://www.streetwars.net
=======================
Calling all wannabe assassins. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: win a three-week, citywide water-gun assassination tournament.
The dossier: You will meet an agent of the Shadow Government in an undisclosed location. The agent, upon verification of your identity, will disclose your target’s name, photo, contact information, and home and work addresses. The game is afoot.
You will eat, sleep, and breathe the name and likeness of your victim until you terminate him or her with your weapon of choice (Super Soaker, water balloon, water glock, gat).
Choose your method wisely: e-mail alias (imgonnakillyou@gmail.com), disguise (fake mustache and accent), phony death threat (beware the tricky reaper).
Your mark is safe at work (and the surrounding one-block radius), in the subway (the MTA might not appreciate your sense of humor), or a bar (a haven in more ways than one). Everywhere else? Fair territory. Attack at home. On the street. Day. Night.
Most of all, when it’s least expected.
Once you successfully snipe your target, report it to the Shadow Government within 24 hours to receive the profile of your next victim.
Just be warned, soldier: At all times, someone will be trying to nail you, too.
This e-mail will self destruct in five seconds.
The deadline for registration is Monday, July 25. For more information, go to streetwars.net. Team options are available. Should you have a complaint about your experience, you can hunt down Team Candy — unless we get you first. Which is not to say we endorse killing of any kind. We’re talking squirt guns, people.www.streetwars.netMy Webpage

Welcome to the boards. We hope you enjoy your stay.
Flash Flood, Pirahna, and Triple Shot are three of your best bets. The Blazer is a little large for concealment.
It may be wise to check with the police in your area. Terrorism fears lately are spurring crackdowns on suspicious behavior, esp. in cities with subways.

“To achieve a World Government it is necessary to remove from their minds their individualism, their loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism and religious dogma.”…..Brock Adams, Director, United Nations Health Organisation.
And especially in New York, of all places! I'm kinda surprised that the Streetwar is still taking place in the wake of recent events. Grand Central Station is being "fortified" and a fair percent of the city's riders are avoiding the subways and buses, at least for now. New York is still very vulnerable to an attack, and so the crackdowns will be harsher there than in most other cities.

thanks for the suggestions, keep em coming! i have a full team of assassins i'm responsible for arming.
and thank you for the security concerns....actually, i think the game has been pretty well thought out as far as that goes. the organizers have determined safety zones that are off limits for play: all subways and buses of course, the person's place of work as well as the entire block surrounding your office. but the most important safety zone created was -- bars! because bars should be held sacred, a sanctuary....a safe haven free from assassins, work stress, you name it
fyi, i just picked up a collection of vintage pistals on eBay tonight: http://tinyurl.com/8uht8
they don't offer much for firing power, but i love their concealability. especially the green one that looks like brass knuckles -- sooo sneaky. i plan on keeping the cute little red one strapped to my leg at all times when out and about. with some red lipstick and some high heels, i'll feel just like a Bond Girl, meowww

Streetwars is going on again? That's excellent news. I remember Streetwars from last year.
As far as concealment goes, whatever you can find that is small and has good range would be great. Everyone's suggestions have been good, but I'd also suggest the Liquidator/XP 215 double pack - both guns are great for their size and the XP 215 is extremely small, which would be perfect.
Hope the game goes well!
