Fav. Soaker: 2008

Stock, modded, built-from-scratch; what's the soaker that you've used that you feel is your current favourite? If possible, let us know what makes that particular blaster your fav' be it its power, styling, feel, or something else altogether. Some may have a couple they hold dear, but try to pick just one for the purpose of this thread.

So far, favourite soaker is my recently repaired CPS 2000 mk.1. I mean, you can feel the power of the gun from the PC emptying in one simple shot.

This has always been a tough question for me. :goofy: However, these days, I still find myself torn between the Monster (2001) and the CPS1500 and the XP215 for all around fun. Of course, as I stated above, this thread is intended to get members to select their single, favourite blaster. When it boils down to it, I do believe the Super Soaker CPS 1500 still inches ahead just so slightly to remain my favourite blaster overall... at least for now. :goofy:

I could swear this is at least the 3rd recycled favorite soaker thread I've seen recently. Either way, it's a good thing to keep the discussions going.

Anyways, given the fact that I haven't tried much more soakers (if at all) in the past months, my favorite that I've used remain the same, the 12k. Good stream, good range, and compact, though the capacity and shot time aren't so great. (but shot time is still better than the 2000 and 2500)

I don't have any of the old ones, so my best is an Orca.

I prefer the FF. More powerful, bigger soakage.

I agree, the Flash Flood seems more powerful than the Arctic Blast

Plus, it doesn't have the "cold water" gimmick

And, in my opinion, it looks cooler. Although you might think differently of course.

CPS 1000 all the way. It is VERY light, has great range, and is very powerful. IMO, 2nd best all around CPS, next to the 1500.

Having not actually shot an Arctic Blast before, I'm not sure on the performance, though the riot blast seems to spread out more. I do agree that the FF looks nicer (and not to mention slightly more tactical), and both have caps large enough to take ice cubes which makes the advertising "gimmick" pretty useless.

For 2008, I guess the Orca and Flash Flood stay on the top for stock. However, neither quite stand up to my 1HK favorite, the 12k.

I tried a cps 1000 at my cousin's recently and i liked it because of the power so i am thinking of buying a cps 1000 or 1500. The helix is great for close range. :helix: :soaked: . So far the Arctic Blast is my favorite because of the flood.

If between FF and AB, definitely the FF. However, all-time favorite is the 1500
