I agree. Although I'm not currently the owner of a CPS 1500/1700, I've seen them in a few stores far up North, and they look good in construction, and from what I hear all around, powerful. The CPS 1000, 1200 and 2100 legacy is getting old, and a new twist to that CPS line would be nice too. I'm not too worried about the CPS 4100, since it's good enough already, except the weak trigger problems.

I'm becoming more and more skeptical that this guy is not accurate.

Because people get weird like that over the internet. Soakologist, please, could you tell us why I'm not accurate in your opinion?

@ Monsoon - I think (correct me if I'm wrong) Soakologist is referring to my contact as opposed to you.

@ skeptics - Well, I've got no hard proof yet so I'm just passing on words but from someone I trust. Take it as you wish. I hope to have more news soon, but all depends on what I'm told when I'm told. :oo: :goofy:

Me, I'm hoping for true CPS-class blasters to return, not just CPS-based blasters. Basically, if we end up getting things with similar power and output as the SC500 or SC600, I'd be a little bit disenchanted since, yes, they're CPS-absed, but I don't consider them really CPS-class blasters. I hope for something at least like the CPS2100 and CPS4100. OF course, if a MonsterX or CPS2500 cannon comes out, I'd be delerious, but I don't want to get my hopes too high. I also hope that we're not just going to see recolours of the CPS2100 and CPS4100 in the future as I'd like to see new designs. Then again, I'll judge what comes out when it comes out.

After more than a week, it's time to check soakerdom news.

Most interesting that Hasbro is willing to produce CPS soakers in the near future, though I hadn't given up hope on the CPS line before I read this thread. Maybe this means my purchase of two 2100s from SA at the end of the summer wasn't as desperate as I made myself think.

It's just like the Chinese Dynastic Cycle... but with water guns. I think another era of good guns are coming, they will reach the size of the CPS 3200, the go back into decine, then repeat, repeat, repeat.
