I received a CPS 1500 in the post today, it is now my fourth one.

However again, another repair job. The seller didn't tell me its valve was worn squirting water with every pump. I opened up the valve (thankfully it is screwed together) and have cleaned out the bits of rust with hot water and also a blast from the hose to get all the crap that wasn't making the pin go smooth. All that is left now when dry is to oil the rod, I can already see the valve is smoother now. I also need to glue on the rubber disc inside as that was also loose.

What's good about this one though, is that it is way different from the other 1500's I've had, so many parts cosmetically are different, I'll show a comparison guide later when it is fixed (hopefully) with picture comparisons as this is certainly a different version.

I just bought the STE Triple Shot, nice little blaster. Even the small nozzle gave a slight kickback on mine! I don't think I'd ever use the fan, but it's nice to have the option. It will most likely spend quite a bit of time set on the big nozzle.
I also saw a few XP 215s that I was interested in, but I figured I'll get one later.

^Nice, where'd you find it? Does the large nozzle have decent velocity and range? Or is it slightly sluggish like the large streams on WW's? It seems to be a decent sidearm but the trigger probably breaks as easily as the Flash Flood's (or so it seems) and doesn't seem to have very good capacity for its size.

The large nozzle is closer to the WW streams, but I think a bit faster. And it gets average or slightly below average range (~30'), which is good for a sidearm.
I found it in a Canadian supermarket (The Real Canadian Superstore for those interested).

Ah, well, still a great lil' soaker! Which model of the XP215 did you get? The original yellow transparent one or one of the later ones with transluscent or even opaque reservoirs?

It's a later version. Light blue body, purple opaque reservoir, and pink (I think, too lazy to check) reservoir cap and trigger.

My latest acquisition is a good ol' Super Soaker 200 Keychain. cute lil' guy. slightly rusted on the keychain part, though, but otherwise in good shape.

Nah they're still the same four, just grouped together with the other stuff I am getting. Oh and the SS 100 turned out not to be an SS 100, it was an SS 200! I'm not complaining...lol It came today almost NIB and I'd never seen an SS 200 in real life before. Came with everything, the stickers still unstuck, the instruction sheet, everything.

Hahah, very well done Duxburian. Your collection and acquisition schedule seems to be looking like mine did last summer. Now we are the opposite, with me unloading and you... loading up.

@DX: you got an SS200 instead of an SS100?! Schweet! The SS200, I believe, is definitely one of the rarer Super soakers out there. That said, that is one fun *lil'* blaster to use or just to admire.

Woo, just got one of the new Max-D 6000s, it's now my second one. I wanted to test the range but the wind was acting up a little so I don't know how far it shoots yet.

Won an XP 95 for $21.50. I've got a rare gun streak going lately, that on the heels of the SS 200 hehe.

I love craigslist. I posted a wanted add for water guns. A guy e-mails me and says his son had a bunch before he got into "girls" so this 14yo I never knew had a phenominal collection of soakers. To be specific about 3 rubbermaid tubs or small and medium sizes, an XL and a 2700.
Heres a list of the small ones that are Out of package:
XP 15 x2
SS 10
SS 30
SS 20
XP 215 x8
(he said these were bought for a water fight at the kid 8th B-day party)
And Small ones NIP:
XP 15
XP 15 2000 Edition
SS 10
Heres the OOB Mediums:
CPS 1000 x2
CPS 1200
CPS 1700 (Yay!)
CPS 2100 x2
Heres the NIB Mediums:
CPS 2100
XP Backfire
Helix
SS 100 (Hooray!)
XP 65 (Never seen a NIB one of these before its pretty cool!)
and finally a
NIB...
Drum Roll...
Blazer! I've never ever ever had one and I'm so happy.
My wallet is too!
All of that for an easy $125!

My latest acquisition is a Super Soaker Bottle Shot. Can't say too much about it yet as I've yet to unpack it. Comes with a plastic bottle, but not quite sure what they mean that it'll accept many types of bottles. At first glance, it appears only to accept bottles of the same threading size and diameter as the bottle it comes with. While many pop/soda 2L bottles likely have a similar neck size, there are also a number of plastic bottles with much wider openings. Oh well, hopefully time will allow me to take pics and do some testing this weekend.
