Got your favourite soaker in hand and have a digital camera handy? Take a pic of your soaker and send it along with your preferred alias to:

Image

Don't feel like emailing? Feel free to also post images into this thread, too!

Avoid using any image editing programs on your picture. Also, if possible, go for more creative shots and not simply review-type images. Accepted pictures will be posted in the Gallery section on iSoaker.com. Notable pictures will also be featured on the main page of iSoaker.com.

Acceptable filetypes if emailing: .gif, .jpg, .png, .tif, .bmp (please keep files smaller than 2Mb; if wanting to send many large-file pictures, please send as separate emails)

Sidenote: this is NOT a picture contest, but can be considered in some ways as practice for one.

EDIT: unless otherwise stated, I will NOT use any images posted in this thread on the main part of iSoaker.com. If you would like your posted picture included in the iSoaker.com Gallery section, please either email me or put a note on your post that you're giving iSoaker.com consent for reposting on the site. Thanks!

Just a picture of the soaker, or should the owner of the gun also appear in the image? Also, do you want to receive pictures showing just 1 gun, or multiple soakers/armories or doesn't that matter much?

Just to give everyone a clearer picture of what you're after... :goofy:

I just got an extra Monster XL, so I could both the MXL's I own side by side in a picture...

@ Peter_MJ: Nope... well, for this request, no image of the owner/user, especially since many prefer not having their images online. Good clarification questions, though! :)

As for number of soakers, for this purpose, the subject should be a single soaker, though other soakers may appear in the background. I have some ideas for a future soaker photography contest, but those will be explained whenever I manage to run it.

As for other soaker images (with or without the user included), those are most welcome in general for iSoaker.com submissions as well.

However, for this thread and gallery section, the picture should focus on one's main/primary/favourite soaker in one's armoury or collection. Of course, if someone can't decide between a couple or few soakers, multiple pictures are welcome, though each picture should focus in on one particular blaster.

Nice pic! However, for this particular thread, I'm aiming more for pictures of a soaker, not the user and his soaker. This pic is perfect for the other thread Pictures of yourselves?, though.

I shall take some pics this weekend to give examples of what I have in mind.

Sidenote: feel free to move the pic of youu and the CPS4100 into the other thread if you want to replace it with a different one later.

Thanks, I'll move the CPS 4100 picture over later.

Anyway, I took some of my Monster XL, and I personally feel I have done better this time. So, hopefully these could be what you might be looking for.

@WildBoys: Now THOSE are type of pics I'm thinking of. Slightly anthropomorphized MXL... always looked like some sort of 'beast' standing on its bipod.

@ all members: Unless otherwise stated, I will NOT use any images posted in this thread on the main part of iSoaker.com. If you would like your posted picture included in the iSoaker.com Gallery section, please either email me or put a note on your post that you're giving iSoaker.com consent for reposting on the site. This note has also been added to the first post in this thread.

A few pics of my own:

Still haven't quite gotten the angle on the Monster (2001) I want, but getting there. In a couple of the pictures, you can clearly see some of my other soakers in my armoury, but the Monster (2001) remains the prime subject of the photo. With more time and inspiration, I'll get the angle and lighting effect I want.
