Welcome to the boards!

Well, for starters, you can check out the iSoaker.com Monster XL review page.

A bunch of other sites also have reviews on the Monster XL as well, but I don't have enough time to grab those links... dig around or another will push up more thoughts/info/links.

Soak on!

I don't have anything to add here that hasn't already been posted, but I too would like to welcome you to the boards.

The only thing i really know about the monster XL is that it's overrated in the public, and underrated in the online soaker community. I think it would be a good gun. I will try to get one from ebay for cheap if i can, i would really like to have one.

I would love to try out a Monster XL. I have no problem running with the CPS 3200. In V9 we ran about a mile or so to surprise attack the enemy. Weight isn't a problem, but I'm not sure about bulkyness. Everyone seems to diss the MXL here for being too big, but I personally think the CPS 2700 is pretty bulky... plus it's pretty ugly! At least the MXL looks good.

Since i am a big person the monster XL would not be a problem for me, besides the bipod help's take the weight off your shoulders.

Edit: Leo even though you are new, don't fall for the media steriotype. Remember the most powerful soaker is the cps 2000 not the monster XL. :soakon:

I'm not a big person, so bulkiness does become a factor. Plus, I like to sprint with a gun I can hold in one hand, AKA anything up to and including a CPS 2500. I also have reflexes that allow for dodging nearly all the shots that come at me. Big guns that hold lots of water drain some of that vital energy and manuevering ability. While I could deal with an MXL, I personally would be much more effective with something else. It all depends on your individual strength, endurance, and/or preferences.
