For those who've seen new soakers appearing on local store shelves, this thread is for posting up what you found, where you found it, and, if possible, how much you saw things were being sold for. This would be good for others to get an idea where to look for what and how much to expect to pay. I realize some have already done similar things in the other threads, but that info is a little scattered and a single thread would better organize the info IMO.

Sadly for me, I've got nothing to report regarding 2005 soakers yet.

At terget the prices for the STE line are as follows:
FF:$20USD
triple shot:$10USD

I don't remember the prices for other guns, but I kicked my brother's butt with the FF(It's still not a very good CPS, though :( )

Kohls:New Liquidators, Triple Shots, MXD2000 2packs, MXD3000 2packs, and new MXD6000s.

The MXD6000s are among the worst recolors I've ever seen. Cranberry base with an orange tank. Someone must've been smoking some strange stuff when they came up with that colorway

Kmart revisited:Lightning recolors, two WW pistols, and a whole bunch of weak 6Flags guns, in addition to the previously listed stuff.

Big Bee, kids are gonna love you and liberals are gonna hate you for those Lightning recolors! Black, purple, and yellow! Dang that's awesome! Those will be excellent for night-fighting. Good job!

What's wrong with black, purple, and yellow?

Anyway, is the Flash Flood worth it at $20? I bought my 3200 for $20, so that's the current yardstick:p Either way that is not an unreasonable price and I think I'll be getting a FF once I locate a Target somewhere around here.

The majority of people trying to ban evil, gun-looking toys are liberal-minded. And the Lightning recolor is dark enough to be gun-looking.

The Flash Flood is definitely worth the $20. It's like a CPS 2000 in pistol form. Serious, the power is totally comparable.

At a Target here in Louisiana:
Helix recolors
Vaporizer recolors
Hydor Blades
Liquidators
Flash Floods
Triple Shots
Devastators
Arctic Shocks
Max-D 3000 double packs

Seems to me that the Flash Flood and Triple Shot are pretty promising, and the Devastator looks like a good candidate for modding (mainly nozzle-drilling and Collosus). Halo 2 style dual-wielding goodness!

EDIT: Unfortunately, I didn't buy any. Somewhat pressed for money right now...

EDIT#2: Do the CPS soakers of the 2005 line have Max-D style triggers? The Flash Flood trigger seemed to click, but it might've just been very stiff.

All SoakerTag Elite guns use MXD trigger technology.

Here's the FFs firing chamber

LOL That's one TEENY TINY CPS chamber! :D Got some good power on it though. Anbody else notice the rubber "neck" of the chamber covers the end of the pipe, but it appears to be clamped below the "neck?" Weird.

Wow, that chamber is so small. Maybe the plastic clamp can be removed and a metal one put farther down so more water can be allowed into the chamber. :)

It's rubber so naturally, it expands. The chambers for the CPS 1000, 1200, 2100, and 1500/1700 look really small too. Maybe not that small, but pretty close.

Yesterday I actually found two CPS 2100s at Academy Sports :) There was also one of the little proce listings for a Splashzooka, but there weren't any left. I would say it is worth checking out.

edit: The 2100s were $25.
