I often find that range is a big factor when the battle is one-hit elimination. I've often found myself in a "gentlemen's duel" position where my opponent and I each fire and pump in sucession, with both fo us backign up when the other fires. Then range is a big figure.

The 1500 is the easiest gun in my opinion to K-Mod.. This modification is much easier to apply to a soaker than a collosus modification. In ym mind, I do not compare a stock gun to a stock gun, but my own experience with that gun. My partially k-modded 1500 si superiorin almost every single way to the Monster. I amnot sure why some people said it was unbalanced, because the 1500 IMO is one of the most balanced guns ever.

Really? In my opinion the 1500's PC was extremely rasy to open. i had the entire gun opened up in under 8 minutes. The only part of the gun i dislike is the nozzle selector.Soakologist wrote:The 1000 is really easy to K-Mod. I've done two of them now and each one was easy. The 1500 has too many diagonals and is more difficult to open its PC.

Although the 1500/1700 is stronger and has a larger reservior and PC, the pump is prone to snapping off during pump or if it fall on a hard surface. The Monster/4100 have track pumps, which is much betre, but the 4100's trigger is prone to breaking like the 1500's pump. Therefore, for a very durable soaker with a track pump, the 2100 would be the right choice. However, it only has one nozzle, so no soaker that i know of has the best of all worlds.

To have a new soaker with a QFD ability will be possibilty in the years to come. Hasbro is probably not going to make another soaker with QFD and if Hasbro dosen't have complete rights to it, Buzz Bee Toys could replicate it or at least make a similair version.

Well, Storm did make that T-Shock with the QFD-like object. Therefore, I'm thinking that Hasbro doesn't have all of the rights. I always found that the SC or QFD guns sold out the quickest too. The stores always ran out of Splashzookas 65oz./1.9L before they ran out of CPS 1200s.
