I was checking ebay for soakers when I came across this. Would these patents give useful internal diagrams? Does anyone have this software?

Thing is, you can access most patents freely off of the Patent Office site ... I have a link somewhere... the only benefit this CD provides is that they've dug a lot of the info up already.

Otherwise, they are selling what is, AFAIK, freely available to those who look.

So it's like they're giving you express access to what you want to see for a premium? I don't know. It's a one-time-use thing only, IMHO. You've seen it once, you've seen all you need to know.

And uhh, what's AFAIK stand for, iSc?

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

At any rate, it's not bad for those interested, but I don't have much use for the patents and it's not like we could go around re-posting the design images online without permission so...

I wouldn't get them, rather save the page and then use their list of patents to get your own collection started.

I actually have access to much higher quality patents and even pending patents due to the fact that my father works at the patent office. Maybe I should ask him about checking the pending patents? We very well may find some 2005 gun or WW gun in there.
