What would be the point if it couldn't fire? I mean, yeah, there's the novelty of it simply looking like a soaker, but it really is cool when they can shoot too.

You'd have to have the nozzle facing the other way, and the soaker would have to be at the end of the pen in order to hold water.

I have an MX Pen, but the hinge is really weak. They'd have to reinforce the hinge if it were going to be another swinging pen.

I think that something along the lines of a supercharging pistol. No pump, no resivoir, it would just charge from the hose straight to a diaphram. with a 2x nozzle, it could probably still get okay shot time.

Another thin I'd like to see is like I said before: long thin barrel, 2-4 diaphrams, 5x and 10x nozzle, and a resivoir that swoops back in the shape of a stock.

And ditch the idea of mini soakers, or next year hasbro's line of soakers will be called "mini squirtz"

If you want a supercharging pistol get an SC 300, anything smaller is usless.

I thought SCs were only 400-600, and it wouldn't be useless, it would have lik a 5-7 second shot time on a 2x nozzle if it had a diaphram, and I'm thinking no pumping.

It would be neat if they built a pressurized water gun into a pen. The pump could be located near the middle of the pen. The base would move into the top about an inch, simulating an actual pump. Then, just press a button or something on the soaker to shoot it.

How about a laptop water gun? You could take out all the circuits of an old laptop and fill the cavity with a Max D 5000 or a WW pistol.

I'm sure the well educated engineering students at colleges and universities across the nation could create plenty of nifty gadgets involving soaking. However, due to the laws of economics, most of these ideas probably would never make their way to R&D at toy companies.

In summation, I think that we'd all be more than content with a rerelease and/or update of the 1998/99 line.

Or a re-release of 1996 and 2000 models...
