2006 Stock Blaster Recommendations - Members' Choices
@dragonclass: $21 for overseas? Is was about that much for me on the East Coast!
@Soaker NoOb: The water warriors are kinda off-brand, so they're a little cheaper for stores to buy. Check stores with slower business (i.e. K-Mart) .

@dragonclass: Well I guess that makes sense...
Anyways back on topic. The WW Argon interests me, small, powerful, prolly cheap. But WW guns aren't the only guns out there. The Defender features a very interesting design. Also, if you do a partial nozzle drill, output and range are increased (see "Nozzle Drilling", it's floating around here somewhere) . The Liquidator is stong for its size. However, I'd avoid the Overload, the Oozinator, and the Arctic Shock. Seriously underpowered, and digusting in the case of the Oozinator
*shivers at the thought* .

Ok, I checked all the stores around and they're all on a clearance for water guns now, all they had were the oozinator and some weird shoot and block thing. From what I've seen, the oozy hasn't done too well this year and probably won't carry on next year. I was hoping to get a defender and a vaporizer but it was too late....
Skip the Vaporizer and go for a Helix. Same range, more output. At the biggest setting, it gets at least a 5 ft diameter circle. Tried it at a friend's house.

The only store-available guns worth buying are the CPS 4100, CPS 2100, Blazer, Pirahna, and the Flash Flood. Yes, the 4100 and 2100 are sometimes found as overstocks and the 4100 as re-issue overstocks. The others have decent enough power and range to make them worth it. As for the others, I wouldn't bother, except maybe for the BBT prechargers.
Wow, that was my most unbiased evaluation of stock soakers in quite awhile...I must be losing my mind...
