Where did you find that? Also, does it actually work?

So lately, my thriftpeditions have been showing me very little of anything. Unless I want to buy a helix (6$) rattler (3$) or another sneak attack (5$). Oh and this:
Image
I feel really sorry for the person who ends up buying this. They're almost guaranteed to be disappointed, after spending just over 10$ on this gun.
The EX 630 is a large and admittedly cool looking PR gun, but the performance is worse than an SS50, and it won't work at all without the cap. Which is missing.
...I mean, you used to be able to buy these for a few dollars. And at least you get a cool looking shell, right?

My brother found a Scatter Blast at a local park yesterday. I think it's an MK2 (2013 redesign), but I'm not 100% sure. All I know is, it's a lot smaller than I thought it was (the reservoir is about as big as my foot), and while it only shoots about 30 feet or so, I admit the shotgun-style streams are kind of cool. Just don't pump it too hard or it'll mist out.

I think it'd make a GREAT zombie weapon.

I bought a Scatter Blast and it was a lot of fun to use. I liked to carry it with me hiking and then shoot it up in the air and walk into the falling droplets. At that point it was a lot more like mist. It's very comfortable and the stream pattern is great like you said. It's just not powerful at all due to the small pump volume and small diameter of the holes in the nozzle.

I range tested that ^ and was like, umm where is the last puddle? The entire stream consists of droplets and they, as its name suggests, scatter widely. When you shoot it into the wind, the "stream" just vanishes into mist.

I think we can all agree that if there were ever to be Nerf-only battles, we would make every little drop count as a hit.

iSoaker, you need to add a page for the Scatter Blast MK2. You don't seem to have one.

I don't know if I could seriously participate in a hits based game with electrostorms, etc. I guess shotblasts work, but beyond that and MAYBE scatterblasts and point breaks there's nothing there. Those are best left to a soakfest, and even then, I just don't even know if I would. I had a fun scatterblast vs XP 270 battle, but it was only slightly competetive cuz I was the one with the scatterblast. There's just really no point in any of us using NSS.

I was so close that I actually got a Drench and Blast on sunday. My target never had C2s at all this year. :-(

I picked up a WORKING Flash Flood for 3$ yesterday. I normally would avoid flash floods... but a working one for 3$. How could I say no?
And then there was this:
Image
A trio of XP40's and a Goblin, for 2$ apiece. I don't normally buy such small water guns, but these were interesting. That being said, my XP40 leaks, other people's XP40's leak, and so did two of these ones... and I am wary of putting a leaking pistol in my pocket. I like the Goblin though. Not sure if I will buy any of these...
There was also an Orca, with the strap, a rusty valve spring/sticky trigger, and top-mounted cap (making it a MK2, just like my... other orca) but for 8$ + tax, and considering all the problems I have with my current orca, I wasn't willing to buy it. I am reconsidering it now. I mean, it is powerful, and IF the pump is good I just have to fix the valve/trigger problem.
That's a big if though.

I got a power pak from DX, and it arrived yesterday. I really like it, it has great output, decent range, and it can fire for almost a minute on 3X.

I love the Power Pak. We all need to get together and fight. All these good blasters...

Latest one is still the Vindicator. Looking to pick up a dozen XPs, probably 270's and 310's.

I got a 2700 :cps2700: and 2 1200s off of ebay. I also got a CPS 3000 earlier, without a backpack. They all work great although the laminator on one 1200 seems to not work right and range is not as good. I think both 1200s are MK1s. I also really like the 2700, it is a great HWO weapon and I definitely prefer it to the 3000, especially since the homemade backpack on the 3000 is not very good.

There is a Monster XL MK2 (the shortened nozzle version) good working order and condition on my local craigslist for 100$.
It's actually the second Monster XL that has popped up local to me recently, but this one is a bit pricey!

Another ebay find (sorry for the large picture):

It works great, although the shower nozzle turns into a stream. It's interesting because I have a 275 and the shower settings on it work normally.

That is awesome! I love the 250. Please take some pictures of it shooting if you can and take stats if possible. How do you like it?

I really like it, although the nozzle options could be better.

What nozzle options would you have preferred?
