I noticed that before, actually.

Looks like they fixed the balance.

But even WW seems to be scaling down preformance... shame
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity.

If that had a seperate pressure chamber, I would buy one. It could make an excellent sidearm if it did. Once again, it looks cool, but it's not really something I'd take into combat with me. I wonder if there is a Viper 2 as well (not a huge fan of the naming scheme by the way; why not like "Python Elite", or something?)?

I looked a little closer at the Python 2's box and the stats provided match that of the original Water Warriors Python. In this case, seems like it's an aesthetic difference as opposed to the Colossus 2 being notably smaller than the Colossus in terms of PC size.
As for naming, while "Elite" is nice and all, I'd want to see a serious step-up in performance before a water blaster is really deserving the "Elite" tag.

Can't call it "Elite" unless it shoots 75ft, ahahaha.

I was just saying that it sounds better than "Python 2". I would call it "Elite" if it were significantly more powerful than the original, but that doesn't mean the manufacturer would.

My joke was in reference to the 2013 Nerf Elite line, which advertises 75ft ranges. I don't really like the naming system right now either. If you call it xxxx 2, it should be significantly improved, not just a re-release of the same design like some of them are. A re-release should keep the same name, like how there are a gazillion versions of the Nitefinder, which sometimes even have internal/external differences, but share the name anyway.

I was planning to, but you got to it first. I was browsing on the internet looking for deals, and I couldn't post it just then.

My Wal Mart has Python 2s. I am almost certain that it's just a new shell. I did as thorough of an inspection as possible without actually taking it out of the box. It was $15 so I didn't buy one. The nozzle selection is good, but this thing should have a PC.

My Walmart has Python 2s. I suspect the Python 2 is better than the original Python, because of more capacity and better balance. It also has Colossus 2s, but they were sold out. One weird find-they have Cricket 2-packs! Another thing I noticed was that WWs were either sold out or almost sold out, Nerf SS almost weren't even touched. And by the way, My Walmart has ALL of the Nerf SS, as well as the accessories.
PS I was amazed at the size of the Python 2. I though it would be a lot smaller, lol.

Cricket 2 packs are standard with the line. The Walmart shelf assemblage is that, the Gargoyle, Python 2, Steady Stream 2, Outlaw, and Colossus 2. The Target assemblage should be most or all of that plus the Drench 'n Blast. Funny thing is, my Walmart has not stocked Nerf SS yet. Hopefully it won't :p

The Python 2 is almost the same size as the 1. The 1 was a lot larger than I thought it would be as well. Definitely needs a PC. The 2nd doesn't look like it has one either.
