Hydrowar Interviews Super Soaker Illustrator

Savark Dicupe illustrated packaging and advertising material for Super Soaker's 2008 lineup. I contacted him him a long time ago, but just recently received a response from him, along with the illustrations/digital coloring he did for Hasbro. I never actually saw these illustrations anywhere, so I'm not sure where they were used. I would have asked, but he has been particularly hard to get a hold of. Anyway, I still think they're really cool!

Cool! Thanks for contacting him and getting permission to repost those illustrations! I love seeing the development of concept art for known brands!

That's pretty cool. I remember seeing those drawings years ago. I thought they were kind of dumb-looking, but I do appreciate how hard it is to draw such illustrations. Does he still illustrate for Hasbro?

He should draw some pictures of big, bad-ass camoed guys holding CPS 2000s. :goofy:

We probably won't be back, but the legacy lives on.
