Most viewed reviews pages on iSoaker.com

Post by isoaker » Mon Feb 13, 2012 2:00 pm

I've been exploring iSoaker.com's website stats a little more deeply, especially keeping an eye on things after the upgrade.

Seeing some stats, such as entry pages and most visited pages, prove rather interesting. I think most would be able to guess the most viewed water blaster review page on iSoaker.com. However, which water blasters do you think people have been viewing the most over the past month?

What do you think are the top five water blasters viewed from the iSoaker.com soaker listing over the past week?

What are your guesses?

CPS 2000?

The most recent viewed pages would probably be the new guns.

I know I have been looking at the Vindicator page a lot lately for a fictional war story I am writing, I keep forgetting how many "X" each of its nozzles are.

I might look at the strategy section sometime soon, it has been so long (years!) since I've read up on that stuff.
"If you are wet at the end of a water war, you are doing it wrong"
Van: "What happened?" SEAL: "Scott Happened"
Alex: "But the stream is cold." Me: "It's fine, my feet really hurt, now they're numb!"

FYI, none of the newest blasters are on the top 5 list since, well, most people don't know about what names to look for, thus most are not searching for them.

#1 is, as martianshark correctly guess, the Super Soaker 2000. In fact, that has been the most hit page overall during the past week (over 4000 visits).

Any other guesses on the remaining 4 members of the top 5?

Don't know about #3 and lower, but I'm guessing #2 is the Monster XL.

Monster XL, CPS 2500, SS 50, XP 150.

How are you getting to see the # of hits on each individual page? I am using Brinkster's 2nd biggest package and as of now I can only figure out how to view the # of page views I've gotten per year.

My hosting provider uses a web analytics tool called SmarterStats(tm). It captures lots of information from entry and exit pages to paths, pages and files most requested, geographics (however accurate that is) based on IP, as well as the usual visitors, page requests, and bandwidth consumption. Also things like search engine query terms, server responses, bad page requests (404s), etc. There's more info on there than I typically look at, but found the views broken down and sorted y views an interesting statistic to look at.

Will reveal rankings soon.

wait... WHAT! haha. I think you should do a "most visited reviews" announcement at the end of each year.
