Such a thing does exist. Reminded me of that other topic about using a crank instead of a pump for a homemade. This one looks like the crank spits water out in a pump-action style manner, but without the pause. Doesn't look good, but looks interesting.

The Shield Blasters worked like that. I'm guessing that that water gun isn't that great though.

Yeah, this looks like a similar idea to the Shield Blasters. I have one. Decent if you want to spray water in some general direction, useless for proper aiming.
I also have another crank blaster, might be by Lanard, that takes a different approach: there's a normal pump to pressurise, and the crank opens and closes the firing valve to make a pulsing stream. Gimmicky really. There's a normal trigger too on that one at least though.
